Fyi, the Norse didn't do facial tatoos, or much of any tatoos for that matter, and definitely not war paint.
Unlike Inuit, Maori, and native cultures in the Americas.
Norse cultures used much more jewlery instead, like Torqs, necklaces, bracelets, beard beads, hair beads, hair pins, clothes decorations etc.
And pigments were used for clothes dyes, possibly hair dyes, and makeup for self beautification in very similiar way to the Romans and to modern Europeans.

yeah this, its kinda cringe to go to a viking festival and then show up as a cast member of the netflix series Vikings. I mean its what i call fantasy viking, but nothing near the real thing.
