- Live MERN Stack Cohort 2.0 - harkirat.classx.co.in/new-cou...
The video discusses free resources available online that can help individuals interested in learning coding or looking to brush up their existing skills. The speaker mentions that about 90% of learning coding depends on the individual's efforts, with only 10% being guided by a mentor or a paid course. The video covers topics like Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), web development, backend coding, deployment, DevOps, GitHub, competitive programming, and more. To learn these, the presenter recommends resources like Codeforces, LeetCode, freeCodeCamp, CZcams, and contributing to open-source software. Lastly, he emphasizes that building projects, posting them on GitHub, and continuous learning are crucial steps for progressing from a beginner to an advanced level in coding.

yes, its good
Hey is it good for someone with already some experience in MERN?. Ive used Nextjs,Graphql, postgres, redis, tailwind and etc... It would be good if the cohort basics are covered a bit fast.
Hey can i still join it and catch up ?
is there a separate community that u guys have? like a whatsapp group or something
?
Do you have a job and how much does it pay annually?
Mentor is 100% needed coming from a path of regorous self learning myself, you will come across a lot of procastination and there will be days you wanna dont do it, you feel like i will do it tomorrow and you are always stuck in some sort of turorial hell. Having a mentor makes sure that you study what is needed and what is enough, and move on to doing another technology or start building projects. Having a mentor makes you have confident that yeah i know that. Any ways its your own decision in the end of the day.
just one request: keep the price of the cohort a bit affordable for students please

Hey Harkirat, as you share about dev etc. Can you share something for places where we use C/c++ like HFTs or something like that?
Ek no ☝️ video bhai.. very insightful.

How to instrument your code?
Hello Harkirat sir, informative video, I have a good command over the tech stack that you mentioned in dev part, can you suggest some more trending technologies that I can learn in the next few months apart from what you have mentioned.
@harkirat please answer me this one question
currently I'm creating a snake game & unable to figure out how to create a grid for my game board + how to move an object inside it, should I see already solved problem like directly jumping into an already done project then implement it in my project, or should I figure that out by my self by googling in small chunks like how to create a grid then how to manipulate it in JavaScript ?
Hey harkirat is the new cohort good for someone who knows MERN and a bit more?
Awesome video, very informative and on point Bro 👍
Thank you sir for the guidance ...
u are the my role model sir jiiii
love you sir ji
*Regarding Cohort course* - Since the course has already completed, it means there will be no live classes right ? Also is there any doubt solving facility available or not ?
The video volume is very low even at the highest volume. Can you please see to it!
Great content as always.
Harkirat bhai..do QA engineers have a chance for Level 2 atmost? Please do a video on QA level up or share us something in your next videos.
Harkirat, bro can you make a simple video regarding the same for mobile developers as well. I know your channel mainly focus on web development, just make a video on how can any one crack remote job based on mobile developer, and which skills / tech stack they need to learn something like this.
Hlo Sir I have doubt regarding backend and frontend...
Which has more job opportunities backend or frontend?
And from what should I start backend or frontend?
As a cohort 1 student, the content he provided in cohort 1 was far more valuable than what I would typically expect for the cost of 6000rs. I have learned more from him than I did during my entire degree, and he has also taught me many additional things.
Hey is it beginner friendly are do I need to learn anything before joining this cohort
@@EkshithaYou should know the basics of JavaScript, that’s all

Hello Harkirat I come from Biology background and I don't know much of the things what you are talking but still keep coming back to watch your videos as they are informative.
My question to you is if I would like to enter the coding world where should I start from and what materials should I use. Is there anything you have which I (and many begginers like me)can benefit from you.
One small suggestion is that please use a better mike.
Tq for the content
Start learning c language from apnaa college. If you can't understand than you should try other field.
Learn Python. Much more beginner friendly than C. Then come back and learn C after you've learned programming using python.
Harvard has a free online course called CS50P introduction to programming. Check it out
After that use free code camp and The Odin project. Both completely free
Hey Harkirat ,Thanks for uploading this video

Next Video- Can you please make a video on resume , because we have applied in so many company , all we get is rejection

I want to focus on backend i have some knowledge of fronted, should I learn mern stack or django, I used to work in python in my previous jobs so I have good grip over it
The real question is even after knowing all these skills will a tier 3 guy can get this much high package or not becoz being from IIT CS its not that difficult to touch 1-2cr but what about T-3 guys which are major viewers..?
May i please know what to study in system design specifically for a fresher who is looking for remote job.Thank you
Great Bhaiya 👍
When does the new cohort starts?
thanks. my left ear enjoys the video well
do consider early bird offer of some sorts 🤞🤞
will be massive help if price with offer goes below 5k inr
Is it better to start with dev and then learn DSA since I've started learning dev first ??

Sir, I am from Kolkata, India. I am 27. I have been trying to learn coding from 9th standard . I had just a book on C (C89) .I really cant understand these at that time. As I have a knack in exploring the tech world . I am weak at math. I pursued humanities stream with computer application in my 12th. My parents discouraged me to enroll me in BCA Instead the gave me Hons in English. I can't complete it.. I don't have attachment to the subject. I still want to pursue something in the tech world. If you kindly suggest me the roadmap for non grads in this industry, I leant a bit of python ,HTML,CSS,Javascript.
As u said, if someone wants to do Competitive Programming.
My question is what is the need to even do Competitive Programming?
I mean, my aim is to end up at google, Amazon, Meta.. or to work Overseas in such companies..
What if i dont do CP??
Won't i will be able to make it?
Or U want to say, CP is like a game and has no role to play to get a job?
When is the next cohort starting?
how do i know when i'm ready for open source
when will new cohort release??
Loved it. Probably will not buy your cohort as im trying to learn backend in Java(Spring) because of my knowledge in Java is most in-depth but nowadays i also follow many devs like primogen and cloudzy and they too recommend roadmaps similar to you. Also one thing i think you should have included in your video was studying dbms, cn, os and maybe oops in depth as they are heavily important to understand stuff like message queues.
what you are talking about is not for an entry level role, thats system design you are talking about , one needs to be completely comfortible in the whole concept of programming and computer networks and computer organization before they get into system design.
Harkirat is talking about how to get from 0 to 1 like he is saying not 0 to hero like others say. And if you are not going for a strict data analytics role , basic dmbs is enough for entry level role.
However for going to the senoir level one has to get a bit deep into all of those to build divided virtual systems that talk to each other mainly for future scaling and performance increase.
and message queues are just one part of system design that comes mainly under managing microservices, its not the ultimate goal , can use rpc instead of them too but you need to be smart enough when to choose what, do read "designing data intensive applications" book for that kind of knowlege.
and its primeagen not primeogen...
so you use vim ?
@@wdvhi loved your reply
@@arnabsurbhamsur2416thanks man , i liked it when you talked about some actual computer engineering stuffs like message queues and all , as a guy who graduated this june in electricals i am into computer science weirdly have been coding since this may and what i have seen is 99% of everyone just stick to abstraction stuffs like react , etc and not get deep into computer/software engineering , glad to see someone like you learning the real stuffs , i would like to suggest read some books rather than sticking to youtube . Cheers!
@@wdvhi Do you have a roadmap or some things that one can do to go deep into cs engg? Like you can tell by -> arrows. I have asked from devs and mostly they do not tell.

With an abundance of resources and no significant barriers to entry, it seems like anyone can become a full stack developer. However, I have concerns that in the future, the supply of developers may exceed the demand. So, is it still worth investing time in learning development?
For eg: to be a doctor you must be a MBBS holder
To be a software engineer, anyone can become with any degree.....=> Majority of people will aspire to be it..=> more supply than demand
The same scenario is with engineering student. They are getting passed out in large numbers but how many of them are skilled and quality engineers
Hello! I don't have a computer science background. I only know basic python and i learned c++ in my 12th. I would like to join the cohort. But would it be above my level or will i be able to manage it?
