Say you score an OT goal in the playoffs to end the series, we should get the team surrounding the player who scored the goal, not the goalie cuz it makes no sense for how EA does it now.

Here’s My Ideas for what could make NHL 25 Decent to Good 1. Create a Fan/Coach, I wanna make a Custom Superfan for Any Team or your Custom Team, and for coaches, what if I wanna make real life coaches, we gotta have that 2. Custom Players having Headshots, I am tired of my perfectly designed Hockey Player but it’s sad to see a blank picture, make it like it is in Be a Pro 3. Interactive NHL Draft in Franchise Mode, like what is shown in Madden NFL 25’s Franchise Mode Deepdive, I wanna see a better Draft Cut Scene with full name announcement, also, add Gary Bettman too (both for the Draft and Stanley Cup Finals) 4. IIHF Countries, in Create a Player, add all IIHF registered Countries and their major cities, makes more sense, also, have randomly generated players in Franchise mode have realistic names for their country (no Jeff Daniels from Poland or Hungary) 5. A Nintendo and PC Port (and bring back Custom Music) 6. Faster menus and a better interface for Creation Zone
@@TheHockeyRy I forgot to add A Backhand Stat and the USHL would make the game more realistic and fun, especially Franchise mode and Be a Pro, finally adding missing Prospects that are playing in the USHL

The problem with saying this is the best NHL game on the market, is that it's the only NHL game on the market. That fact means they have no competition, so no real need to work on the aspects of the game that aren't HUT. HUT is always going to take precedence over any other game mode, until people stop sinking money into it. That is unlikely to happen because for the majority that is the only game mode that matters.
@@TheHockeyRy Yeah it's really unfortunate but all the sports games seem to have all become monopolies for each company. EA has the market on NFL, FIFA and NHL. Sony has MLB and 2K has NBA. When there is no competition for these games it makes them stagnant and forces them to only really improve the aspects of the game that make them money. You'll get bits and pieces each year to keep people coming back for something new for offline modes but you'll never get a fully fleshed out offline mode out of any of these titles because they really don't need to care about offline modes as much. There isn't really anything we can do about besides boycott the games until they either abandon them for someone else to take up the mantle or actually try and improve on them.
@@daximus5988 I think the problem is that unless you can guarantee that your game will outdo ea's NHL, then it is HIGHLY risky to try and compete. There's only enough to go around for 1 big company. But in NHL's current state, I think it could easily be out done.

I would love the All Star Game but due to the 4 Nations Face Off Tournament upcoming it will most likely get a mode of that Tournament or HUT cards of that.
House rules in World Of CHEL and the return of the zamboni mini game. It'd be a bonus if "Time To Pretend" or "1901" made it into the soundtrack. Also a new menu featuring actual hockey footage in stead of just a bunch of tiles.

They need to do: 1. Bring back GM connected/Online GM mode 2. Accurate Arenas/Goal horns, EA is rich, they can afford licensing 3. Improvements to the penalties and defensively gameplay (Not every single pokecheck should be a trip.) 4. Please for the love of god, fix BAP. Unskippable cutscenes, crashes, boring repeating dialogue, trying to tank certain interviews but they still pick you. 5. Stop changing the skating, hitting and goaltending making it worse. No one asked for a fatigue system, we already had a fine one before. Shouldn't be an guaranteed goal after 2 shots when you have momentum.
The things I want from nhl 25 1. Franchise revamp 2. Add all-star drills and games in the franchise 3. Be a GM 4. Create a helmet for your goalies if you're getting bored with the same helmets since nhl 14 5. Get rid of the cringe celebrations zoom in from Nhl 24 after the goals I want to see teammates hugging and fist bumps to the bench after the goals and also the buttons we should choose celebration as optional, not automatically
From the nhl 24 deep dive, they said they don't want the user to celebrate on its own, so they want to be automatically so that the user doesn't have to press y or triangle buttons
The items you mentioned are all gimmicks and wouldn't add any lasting value. There's more important items the dev team should be focusing on, such as gameplay, AI, strategies, revamping game modes, etc.

Hate to be that person but none of these will ever be in a NHL game. EA will add some random bullshit that was never asked for. EA loves to add useless features. For example the pressure system. It was cool when announced but it doesn’t feel smooth or noticeable when playing

I'm pretty sure that's what they do. They leave a smaller team that most likely shrinks throughout the year to maintain the current game, while majority focus on the next game.

If they want the KHL in the game they would need to change the name of the game itself. The KHL doesn’t want to be represented as a lower or inferior league.

I agree, although it's easier said than done. They had an interview about this topic a year ago and it sounds like it's in the works. It may even come out this year, but I'm thinking it will be a feature for NHL 26

I agree about the zoom camera, its a good idea, but it just feels janky, idk why

NHL 24’s gameplay was terrible and clunky. They need to actually revamp the franchise before doing anything else.
I actually don't mind the gameplay, I think there's some stuff that needs major tweaking though.
