    Indonesia is the World's largest archipelago consisted of 17.840 islands where almost a thousand of tribes occupying the country and they all speak different languages, playing different instruments and practice different traditions. Welcome to Indonesia

  • @amaqteganang4948
    @amaqteganang4948 Před 3 lety +7

    Yes you are right, the polinesian, Hawaii, Madagaskar, Suriname and even a small country in the south America they have quite a lot of similarities with Indonesia. Especially in languages, traditions, and of course skin tones. Indonesian people were known as Sailor. That's one of the only few identities left after the colonials and other western countries re-write our history to beneficial themselves and even changed our name from Nusantara to Malay Archipelago. But if you care to dig more about the true history, you can start by googling Ship. Before aeroplane existed, I think ship is the only transportation we have. If you check who owns the biggest ship you may find a Chinese king as the owner, but who built it for him? Hope you'll find the answer too.
    When people are not so many on this universe. People who live in a single huge land don't cross the sea. But those living in an archipelago definitely need ships to travel around to survive or for living.
    Many of the World's oldest arthepacs found in this country including the oldest homo sapien ' phitichantrophus wajakensis.
    If you refer to the history about ancient kingdoms, you'll be surprised to find out who built the city of Manila in the philippines, the Angkor wat in Myanmar, Malaysian kingdoms, The Kingdom of Campa in Thailand and many more... They all related to the Nusantara's ancient kingdoms. Indonesian real name is Nusantara but was changed in the map into Malay Archipelago by Wallace from England. And then, many european named us Dutch Indies, or East Indies and now became Indonesia. Luckily, we all accept the name given, but also keep our the real name Nusantara in our head and also in our blood.
    Welcome to the mysterious country of Indonesia.

    This is like a Polynesian version of “The Lion King”, even though they’re from Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩. Mommy Drew ... Last time I heard music like this was on my last trip to Hawaii in 2017 & before that, at a friend’s Samoan wedding which was wild ✋️😝🤚. I would definitely groove along to this if I was watching it live ✊️😁👌

    • @DrewsClues

      Yes, yes Gerard...it reminds me of me tip to Hawaii as well! I enjoyed the live performances...the Polynesian culture and its people are so beautiful. This is just as intriguing and beautiful! I just loved it!

      @@DrewsClues... I’m very familiar with the Polynesian culture, mainly through our Kiwi brothers & sisters in New Zealand & other South Pacific nations close to us like the Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu & Fiji, which was where I proposed to my wife (then fiancée at the time) when I took the 2 of us to the islands as her birthday present in 2019 (her b’day is December 23rd) & she had NO IDEA what was coming (❤️💍❤️). I even joined in the show at the resort where we stayed & dressed as an island dancer to pop the question to her in front of 500 staff & guests. She was overwhelmed by my gesture & screamed “YES!!!” before I could complete “the question”. I spent a small fortune on the ring & the trip but, as it turned out... SHE WAS WORTH IT 💖💖💖💖

      Hawaii in the past were written Javaii if I'm not mistaken which means small java. Java is one of the Biggest islands in Indonesia and were also among the top 10 in biggest island in the world.
      An easy way to study more about the relation between Hawaii and Indonesia is by checking their numeric spelling. Not using Indonesian language, but the traditional language of Java. You'll be surprised.

    Although it sound very beautiful, I don't think the original traditional arrangement sound like this. This one is more like contemporary art than traditional song.
    I've never heard any other Papua songs that sound like this “The Lion King”
