Eddie Alvarez is probably the only example of someone who came from Bellator and had real success in the UFC. Ben Askren was a failed experiment, Michael Chandler is having moderate success fighting the top guys. There’s no doubt that the best guys are in the UFC and there’s a reason that the mainstream doesn’t really recognize the other promotions.
That’s not entirely accurate. Askren was at the tail end of his career when he was brought into the UFC. He was dealing with serious hip injuries in addition to his age. His striking was atrocious but he made up for it in his wrestling, grappling, and iron chin. If he had fought Usman before he became champ both their careers would have taken a completely different trajectory.

His striking is so bad and being a one dimensional fighter doesn’t really get you far anymore. All these guys who are grappling specialists have really good striking to match it.

Your judging him if he was in his prime and fighting in the UFC now in which case he wouldn’t be as successful. But if he was in the UFC DURING his prime years he would’ve done great, most likely would’ve been champ too since he would’ve been fighting the Woodley that lost to Usman and the Usman prior to him training with Whitman who also had horrendous striking. Usman has wrestling, but Askren has better wrestling and top tier bjj along with a rock solid chin so I don’t see why he wouldn’t b3 abl3 to beat the fighters Usman did and beat Usman too.

Jamahal can be easy to write off if you dont understand fighting. He isn't really flashy and sticks to the basics, but his timing & accuracy are WORLD CLASS! Add on top of that his toughness, and you cant deny he's a top fighter.

Corey best wins are a decision over Glover , one decision over Yan and KO over Johnny walker but hes also lost to guys like osp , shogun and has been knocked out by Yan in a rematch , he made to the top 5 in 2018 at number 4 but his following fight pushed him down to 6 and he was never able to get back in the top 5
We don't know if he IS top 5 or deserves to be considered top 5 over the next guy but it's not that big of a deal at the end of the day because we can all agree that Corey can compete w all of them at worst and beat a few of them at best.
Corey Anderson is complete trash, dude was finished 4 times in the UFC (and 3 of those he literally went to sleep badly) chinless shithead with slightly above mediocre wrestling taking advantage of the fact that there are pretty much no grapplers at lightheavyweight. If someone has the brain to stop 1 or 2 takedowns, Corey is done.
The KO of Walker didn't age well either looking back at it. So was he ever really top 10?

As for Michael Chandler... if you step back and look at the whole picture, you realize that all of 3 of his actual fights (Hooker wasn't ranked and Tony is shot) play out the same... he empties the gas tank in the first round, then gets battered for the rest the fight.

The Michael Chandler example is perfect, and you could throw in Sergio Pettis as well. Some of the Bellator champs would be competitive in the UFC, but they look much more impressive against lesser competition at Bellator. The truth is that Nemkov would be a middling contender in the UFC. We’re not even going to bother mentioning the more stringent testing, and USADA required in the UFC.

He also beat UFC'S Alan Choban and Max Griffin in another promotion, He is currently 3-0 in the ufc.Sabatello is 12-1 beast that has punished ufc fighters, and recently destroyed former ufc fighter named Brett johns in a fight card. Bellator has a very deep bantamweight roster including the guy that beat petr Yan named Magomed Magomedov.
Bellator elite fighters can compete and have beaten former and current ufc champs. Bellator has plenty killers. Ufc too small to sign all the elite fighters out there.

Cory can't remember the correct name of a guy he trained with a few times and also doesn't remember that Jiří Procházka beat Nemkov by TKO in a weird 10 minute round format where I think Nemkov gassed. It was also 7.5 years ago. It feels super obvious that Cory thinks Jan was lucky in their last fight. He kinda needs to tell himself that.
Now to sort of support Cory a little. Some of the best fighters in the World are not in the UFC. Most are, and the UFC has the deepest talent pool. I think Nemkov is competitive with everyone in the top 5. Usman Nurmagomedov, AJ Mackee, Patchy Mix to name a few, would be very competitive in the UFC. Be interested to know why Usman went to Bellator. Maybe because Islam is at 155 in the UFC? Highly unlikely they would fight.

Lorenz Larkin beat Masvidal and Magny in the UFC, and was ranked #4 in the UFC when he went to Bellator and was knocked out easily in his debut. Rory Macdonald and Benson Henderson were solid contenders in the UFC and when they went to Bellator they were smoke; Benson went from having a good winning streak in UFC to immediately having a 4-loss streak in Bellator
No doubt Bellator has good fighters but organisation it self sucks.
Rory had a career altering fight with lawler, looked over the hill against wonderboy, and went on to become champ in bellator. Sergio pettis looked undersized and got battered at bantamweight in the ufc by rob font. Now hes champ in bellator. Bader got smashed by jones, machida, rumble anytime he got close to the belt in ufc. Double champ in bellator. Mousasi became champ in bellator although I believe he wouldve been one in the ufc had he stayed.

ayy glad to see you've started a channel bro I've been a fan for a long time, can I give you a bit of advice though have your name first like Jamahal Hill - Champ Chat or maybe just Jamahal Hill Official or Jamahal Hill Official Podcast. It will just help with the CZcams algorithm and people finding your channel if they search your name and things like that. also with the tags when uploading you want things that are searched often but still relate to your channel, it all just helps bring eyes to your channel.. I don't know how much of this sh*t you know already so just ignore my a** if you already know all this 😂
