Here’s 17 here now he’s 50 years old
omg i can’t believe how young he is here, time really does fly by.
Meg Leo.... You are damn Gorgeous!
@@dickdastardly7081 get a grip dick!
“You wait till I sort your dad out, he’ll wish I’d never had him” lol.
What kind of man scolds his son for wanting to be a Chef.
Init. Kind of rich considering his dad worked on a fruit and veg stool. He was probably jealous
It was set in a different times with different attitudes way back in the mid 1980s.
Someone who's been watching too much Hell's Kitchen.
Peter Beale was a real Cockney man through and through. Men like him believed real men did 'real' jobs. Cooking was for girls.
Even in the mid 80s attitudes towards things like this were a lot different ..
What a beautiful scene. Wish EastEnders could go back to being like this. Pure quality.
Thomas Law (Peter Beale Jr) looks so much like a young Ian Beale
Aww, poor Ian - I actually feel bad for him!
U gotta love your nan there the most precious people on earth
Wait?! He had a breakdown way earlier on in his life?!?
Oh god it makes hell of a lot of sense now.
That’s hardly a fckn breakdown. 🙄
I wish my Grandmothers was as comforting as her.
That episode was the very first time they used the Julia's theme
Hate him or love him the character ian but adam is such a awesome actor 👏 a true icon
I like this Ian.
He's always been a really good actor. In fact many good actors have worked on Eastenders over the years. I guess the only problem is, Adam Woodyat can only play Ian Beale. The character is so well known and synonamous with him, he couldn't do much else. The same probably goes for Steve McFadden. Again, an excellent actor, but forever Phil Mitchell.
Not really, like many older characters who used to be in eastenders that are still there or left then came back...they seem to forget how to act. same for the likes of Sharon the actress was a way better actor upto the first time she left EE
Lou would be very disappointed with how he turned out
Time flies Lou Beale I loved her relationship with Ian
Ian sounds the same lol
Sad Vibes 😂
And looks the same 😂
*I,vE g0T nOTh1Ng lEFt*
I get it
@UKSKIDS I know. She was right in her predictions
He’s such a talented actor!
Grandma we love you bless
The word Puff used in TV wow how times have changed and for the better
Absolutely amazing scene❤️
He sounds exactly how he does now
He's got nothing left 🤣
Ian was such an innocent sweet boy when the show started, what have the writers done... completely ruined his personality imo
I think they just evolved his persona to be more tough and heartless the more things went wrong for him as the years went by
Growing up getting tough I'm afraid
I agree to a point but soft get squashed anyway at the end he showed his true feelings by getting upset
I meant end of time in eastenders having said that he will be back
His personality changed after Kelvin left.
Classic episode
Bet she gave Pete a good dressing down after she sorted Ian 🤣🤣
Legendry Lou always sorted things out in the family the head of the entire family any problems they all turned to Lou now in eastenders any problems they all turned to dot 😂 funny that as Lou dot and ethal were friends
Do you think he’s gets sick of being Ian Beale? He’s a great actor but it must take a toll to play Ian...
Ian Beale is the best character in EastEnders in my opinion
Young Ian Beale is so cute 🥰
Ahhhh bless him so young
This was 34 years ago, wow.
If Lou were still alive she definitely wouldn't consider Kathy to be family at all!
True. They were always at loggerheads.
@@itsjemmabond They were always at each other's throats but after what Kathy did (fake death and abandonment of her family) Lou and Pauline (if they were alive) would definitely reject Kathy from the family.
I miss Lou Beale, and I miss warm characters like her.
he was 17
One of many
God she weren’t wrong about Ian having bigger problems later in life than he does here 😂 I wonder what Lou would make of current day Ian.
I would love to have a matriarchal character like Lou in my life
ian is just one walking talking mental breakdown
BINKYBOOHOO honestly same
Nice to see attitudes have moved on the stigma of having mental health problems is no longer
He's like Darren Miller
That’s Ian Beale when he was much younger and he was at school
The title lol
‘When I’m 50, I’ll get my mum back by making her bankrupt’
Before Bobby was born XD
1:08 HAHAHAH
Steven, Peter, Lucy and Bobby have a good dad like Ian
Sure. Peter and Bobby are in the frame for trying to kill him, Lucy was murdered by Bobby and Steven is dead too!
2:14 - You sure will!
😂
Yep 1 of them will get murdered another will die from a fire and the other one will run away like a lil bitch to new zealand what's not to love?
@@EternalPayne Which one died from a fire?
Hamza Khaliq Steven
You've all got to understand Pete Beale was an old-school Cockney man, and while I don't agree with his sentiments, I see where he's coming from. In those days real men had 'manly' jobs, and even in the 80's many people still associated cooking with women. Yes, The Ipcress File and Man About the House/Robin's Nest changed popular opinion, but Pete needed more convincing.
I miss my Nan 😢
me and all
Likewise,
They’re the heart and glue to the family❤️
Was she your Nan?
@@jamescampbell5495 not the lady from EastEnders my Nan passed away in 1994
So sorry for your loss
He was fit!!
Keasha Parispinnock he used to be but he really isn't now
Keasha Parispinnock you do realise his in his mid 60s WTH?????
@@kariblair3529
That's what old age does to you.
You hit 40 plus and the weight settles in. Especially if you are lucky to earn a good wager.
@@elmc2072
He is 51 years old to be precise
He was a kid, how old are you?
I what how Lou would have reacted if she had been alive when Phil Mitchell put Ian's head down the bog😂😂😂😂😂
He was a cutie wasn't he?
Back then I thought Ian Beale was a complete and utter bottom. Now, in 2020... I still do.
LMAO
I would have definitely crushed on him here ngl
She's a tough women but very fare and words of wisedom
Give Peter, the toughest man in the square, a beating of his own, Lou!!!!
Was that Pauline's house
Yes was Pauline's house
He could be good bad sad ian was quite a guy adam great actor
Was cute back then
He pisses me off
ياسر yeah but he’s so adorable here
Praha same
ياسر
this was way back in the mid 1980s
First? How many has he had? 😯
When Ian could actually act..
@@elmc2072 shut your face
Smart Arse your name is what you are
Now he's got "nothing left".
Ian turned into a really bad person
Now Ian steal from mom lie to everyone I hate him
So who decided to turn Ian into a wimp
Glenis goodchild the Mitchell’s
Ian used to be good looking.
Ian's aged terribly.
Is that lady Kathy's mum?
Lou was Pauline and Pete's mum.
