I played Shinobirds, and I ran the spirit monsters and Morganite included in the last pack. I had real good match ups against Mikanko as my monsters didn't target and came back to my hand at the end of the turn. I enjoyed it so far!
I play dino deck and I don not why did not ban scrap raptor and UCT like it did in 1st anthology event. My dino become an OTK machine with a lot boardbreaker aid become even stronger. When weakest format is allow, it is important to check also some pottential going 2nd deck and perform OTK, and limit further boardbreaker not just evenly match only.
Tbh I think Konami ruined the ritual event by making ritual cards that enable turn skips and searchable one-sided skill drains. The ritual mechanic is filled with insanely degenerate cards that are balanced solely by the inherent weakness of needing to be ritual summoned - if you make a festival where all of these cards meet the baseline requirement for meta-relevant consistency then it’s fairly clear players will be in for a rough time.
Imagine Cueing into the Ritual festival with DM and getting paired against the current world champion.
