- To celebrate Jayson Shaw’s recent win at the International 9-Ball Open, let’s go back and enjoy his first win in Norfolk at the US Open 9-Ball Championship back in 2017.
Jayson already had wins at Turning Stone, Derby City, the Ginky Memorial and the West Coast Swing in 2017. Kaci was more of a newcomer on the scene and had not shown pool fans what he capable of yet. Both players were looking to add this prestigious title to their impressive 2017 resumes.
Mark Wilson and Danny Diliberto were in the commentary box.

Now I need to see the video of Jayson winning the international open.
I posted his last few shots and the celebration.
Jayson was a man on a mission. Had the break down to a science. Balls were cooperating with him too. Really convincing win.
Kaci's 1st legit shot comes on the 4ball in the 9th rack. Absolutely 💯 unbelievable
This match delivered beyond all expectations.
Good to see one of Scotlands own ruling the American pool scene 😊😊
dude lives in Conneticut lol
Jayson shaws shot clock never gets below 25 lol thats insane how fast he shoots
I feel bad for kaci jayson got every roll possible didn’t leave him but one shot in first 7 racks
Well at least it was close Pat lol
They must not be enforcing the time control in this match
I’m pretty sure in this format if you’re down on the shot when the clock runs out you’re okay you just can’t stand back up or then it’s a foul but I could be wrong.
they need a shot clock every time
I believe it’s different than it is now. The cue ball doesn’t need to be struck just addressed before 00. Once addressing ball you can’t stand up. But I did see one time where Shaw went to grab his extension and really had not addressed the cue ball before time was up.
k, u dont need to jump up table J
lol go home btch u must be new to pool
@@hehe-oi4gm serious? not too say its illegal. but its kinda slowroll. u dont see snooker player jump on to table to celebrate.
@@liyexiang666 then watch snooker, why u here?
@@hehe-oi4gm does it matter?
the amount of pressure that builds up on you over a major tournament....sometimes you gotta let that shit out when you win
Pure luck
