    You can also "Polish By Crisp Edges" but generally the two I've found most useful were "By Features" and "By Groups" - But, definitely check out the other options just to see what's around if you get the chance :)

    These tutorials have been so needed for zbrush. I was already following your blender tuts since I use both daily. Great to see quick yet well explained content.

    Question: "turn off the dot for a more aggresive polish". I see that dot in a lot of places, do they all do the same thing ? "on less agressive, off more agressive ?"

    • @TheRoyalSkies
      @TheRoyalSkies  Před 2 lety

      From what I’ve tested, yes they do - Turning off the dot just goes extra hard, like turning the safety off -

    • @ed278
      @ed278 Před rokem

      Not that simple actually. From what I learned, the dot representing what algorithm (or method?) will be used to do the action, in this case which for example is Polish by Features: turned on dot will polish by features while preserving the volume of the mesh and turned off dot will do the same but will ignore the volume, so yeah I think you could say so, basically speaking.

      just did an experiment, and yeah those two modes have really different result, you can't achieve same result as turned on dot with turned off dot (or vice versa). So it's really not just about aggresiveness

    Isn't polish by features the same when comes to polishing poly groups? Since poly groups are a "feature"

    Clickbait, these features are in english not polish smh
