    The thing is, John was also "too good" but he didn't look so big, so everybody thought they surely had a chance, and for decades they were denied. And yes, John wanted a challenge and did fx. drop weight to see how he did at a lower weight. Levan has locked himself into challenging himself to keep a clean sheet, not even dropping a round. That is the kind of challenge that means you can't take chances and test yourself against your opponent's strengths like John did. That'll make his career boring. John even tested himself by seeing how little training he could get away with and still win. Different kind of brilliance.

      John was also testing himself by beating his opponents in their favorite moves (Farid). Btw Levan as well. Remember his fight against Laletin, when he didn't let him toproll in first round.

    He would be absolute champion at 115 kg category if he wanted to stay at weight and he could be #2-3 in overalls too, if he bulked up to 130kg or so. But I don't see him beating current Levan.

    Levan said he would retire he wants the big money i cant blame him. When he arm wrestled devon at the place with all the cars he was looking at them like i need these. Literally right after he said he would retire in 5 yrs to act and wants the bigger money while he can. The dude is 400 lbs he said there is nobody to give him a challenge so why beat a dead horse he wants to act and should.

    Voevoda didn’t use the best of techniques during his first match against Bagent. He was lacking techniques but makes up for it with strength. I think he would have had great potential but the Olympics called for him. Levan and cyplenkov are the best of the best. Their bone density and muscle and tendons would wear out less because they were big big guys. I think voevoda could beat them for maybe 5-10 years but not in the longer run if he never knew the Olympics.
