- After entering Montenegro we arrive at the beautiful south east coast. Ulcinj is our first stop and we can’t wait to discover Montenegro. But first we need to find a spot to camp tonight, as wildcamping is not allowed we are curious how van life will be!

Even though wildcamping is not allowed we found a great spot the camp the first night. A few more campervans found this spot and we feel comfortable enough to spend a couple of days here. We can’t wait to explore more of the region and find out what Montenegro has to offer. After a couple of delicious burek’s and a Ćevapčići we head for the idilic town Stari Bar. The town isn’t that big, but we feel it’s a must visit if you are in the region.
We continu our roadtrip to Shkodër Lake (Skader Lake). The lake lies in Albania and in Montenegro. We are surprised by the beautiful landscape that surrounds the lake. It reminds us of some great scenery in China, Yangshuo. We are lucky to find a beautiful spot to camp for the night with one of the best views!
In Podgorica we have to find mountain boots for Bas. Normally we don’t visit cities that often, but now it is nice to see how life in Podgorica is. We visit the vegetable market and drive through the busy center of town. With 30 degrees celcius we were really happy to find a nice spot to camp right next tot he water just north of Podgorica.
We can’t wait to discover more of Montenegro and visit the great mountains more north.

Yes we have seen it. Its not really allowed. But since when did that stop you? I still get sweaty palms thinking about sitting on the back of your motor driving through Beijing 🙈
@@basbianca.vrolijkopreis Ahhahahhahahahh! Absolutely true that! Just happy for you guys that you had an opportunity and the balls to try it. Can't even imagine how beautiful it must have been there in the morning. We rode a scooter from Buljarica all the way over the mountains, so when we arrived it was like mid-day!
