We're back for another ride with our Canadian friends Erik BCPOV and Van Girl Yuka, except this time we are at the Beech Bike Park for some DH laps!
Though we are all on trail bikes, we are also joined by my friend Andrew who just recently got himself a full on DH bike and is utilizing it to terrorize even the double blacks... But this turns out to be perfect because now we can get him to tow us into everything!
This was a super fun day out on the bike park, one of only a hand full this year for me, and man did it feel good to finally find the courage to ride everything here!
Hope you all enjoy coming along with us for this amazing day of riding.

MORE YUKA AND ERIC!!!! I don’t care if it’s not their channels. This makes my weekend.
This makes your weekend???
Till we meet again!
Watching your videos is like watching my inner spirit from when I was a teenager, stoked to go riding every day after school. Now that I have a job, kids and a mortgage that inner spirit still lives within me.
Just built a cabin 5 minutes from this lift if you guys ever need a place to crash. It's really cool to see you shred the local park. Cheers and love your videos as always!
Good to hear about the confidence as long as wisdom is also involved too.
I can just hear your mother after the last clip. "Alex you didn't bleep it!" 😂😂
You are doing better and better all the time. Stay out of your head and follow your heart. Awesome, Alex, and you are a benevolent young man with others around you! Blessings, and God loves you, too! Thanks for your videos! Fun riding with you since I can't. I ride a motorcycle!
at 11:35 I thought for a second, "hold on, who is that child?" :D then I realized it was Yuka :D she is so smol
Just want to pop in and say that LMNT saved my bacon recently. I was packrafting in Moab, and we broke down our rafts and hiked to the top of the Canyonlands mesa (12 miles and 2100 ft) in a day. We finished at the top dehydrated and hurting. LMNT is usually way too salty to drink most days for me, which means a whole box was waiting in the car for us. It tasted like Mana from Heaven. When you really need that salt, your body knows it. That stuff is great to have around, even if it seems too salty trying it in your kitchen.
Hey from Scotland
I watch both of your channels and van Girl Yukas big crash made me hurt for her.
Three good people keep it up 💜
California needs more bike parks like these!
100%
Everywhere needs them, even in Colorado I wish there were some closer to the Springs. I love Trestle but it's a bit of a ride.
Dude. Your videos are extremely diggable. Let's rock!
Your videos are so much fun to watch. Love - always have - your enthusiasm and laughter!
Three of my favorite CZcamsrs in a single video. That's what I'm talking about!
Duuuuuude Alex, you getting it 🤘🏽 got the pleasure of riding and hanging out with bcpov and yuka while they were up here in Alaska, such awesome people 🤙🏽
Thank you for stopping to help me out.
Woohoo 🤟🤠🤟 Careful, considered and crazy! Gotta stick to your battle plan cos we know they don't take no prisoners out Zion way
So stoked your finally riding back the way you used to on that train. You've arrived !
Sampler you are such an awesome dude, I love how you immediately stopped to check on the downed rider and stayed until the peeps he was with showed up.
Of course!! We gotta look out for eachother out there 👊
Shredding! Thanks for posting!
I liked the OG title man, glad you are feeling as good as you are looking on the bike!
Yeah, bro! Cane Brake is the best when dry or damp. But scary when wet.
That tree though! So glad you didn't hit that omg
We were actually riding there that day! We saw you guys at the bottom and my friend yelled at you when you did that drop! It was awesome to meet you!
Dude! I think this is the best video from Beech I've ever seen 🔥
Bike Park Days Rule!
Can you consider in the near future making an episode with the lone aspen wilderness on a single track that is not too commercial? There were some single tracks episodes way back when you had Sheila that I recently rewatched , which makes me want to watch more of your OG adventures from back in 2017-2018 :)
You guys were shredding!!
Great collaboration w Eric and Yuka. You guys rock
Great episode wish we had a bike park with up lift here in Western Australia, Cheers Mate
A HANS device for mountain bike helmets!! Cool!! Yuka almost broke her neck and back.
Your buddy andrew came into the shop when he blew his tire and helped me wrestle on cushcore, funny enough thats not the first time we've done that to one of his bikes this year. Love to see you shredding the local!
Happy that you’re getting back to it buddy
Dang decent of ya to watch out for your fallen comrade!
Dam good riding, and great stoke!
Come ride Angel Fire next season! Great video! Love the energy!
Bro love watching ur vids can’t wait to get off work
Love your vids and rides. Awesome job as always!!!
22:02 TREE!!!
I'm at work, and couldn't help but yell out loud. Everyone was wondering why I was yelling about trees.
When you said “you have good brakes” at Eric and then I saw what brakes he actually running. Man it’s not just good, it’s super expensive 😂
Such a fun day had a blast riding with you.
Was just up there Saturday. Wish I had seen this video first! You made those drops I was scared of look easy! Oh well, I'll tackle them next year...
Beech is a good time. The lift is a little slow but there are so many fun little side hits and alt lines on the trails, it makes it worth the trip!
Super fun video 🤟🏻
So fun riding in front of ya!
cool nice park never see that in Alberta ,,
Beech was my favorite place to race DH
Beech is a good bike park, small and the lift is slow but the tech there is pretty gnar and the vibe there is awesome. Cool to see you riding there. Live in Charlotte now so its the closest lift assist. Haven't rode Sugar yet so I can't compare.
great video! yes their chair lift is horribly slow!
looking like a mass race in riders republic
I swear every time I go to the bikepark I take my first run and think I dont think I can do this today. And by my 3rd run I'm fine
fun fun dbl bulk run
Great video, you should totally hit Jarrod's Place some time. Awesome range of trails from flow to steep tech. Great place for jump progression especially imo.
Your awsome man hope to see you out on the trail somtime look for the 8yr old grom behind me
Lived in HIckory NC for 10 years. Boarded tons on ice at Beech and Sugar in Banner Elk and never thought to ride in the summer. Bummed out now. Living in Fargo ND now with nothing but flats :(
Got to ride here last year. Was a fun trip. If you make it out to NOVA or Maryland area we have some "secret" trails out here that make beech look tame
You have to go over to Sugar Mtn Bike park the next time your in banner elk! The dirt is better and the lifts are fast!
I have the same chest plate as you, didn't wear it for like 3 mths after I got. Now I feel naked without it!
22:02 - OMG....GEEEZUS
😬
soo awesome amezing video lovet
Love your videos! If you're back down in Florida for the winter any chance of meeting up for a ride or some sort of group ride? I usually hit Alafia, Balm, or Carter Road, would love to have you tow me into some features
Love riding park. Can get a month of progression in one day. Just cant overdo it or it will definitely punish you.
Oh my bringing goods to the trails. Why aren't we friends?
Eric and Yuka didn't have their own bike? :)
So uh what’s the deal with Eric and Yukas bikes? I see my commencal right there
Was this at beech mountain
What bike do u have
You don’t have to know the trails exactly, and there is no way to memorize everything anyway. You just have to look farther down the trail and go with the flow.
Parks tend to stay the same but open new trails or it may get smoother if they resurface but other than that you can definitely memorize bike park trails for the most part. Some roots might be more ate out some days and sometimes they might have been packed in by dirt moving in rain but its still going ti be in the same spot. Its just rough vs smooth that you can never guess about until you ride.
First
can confirm, you are indeed 🫶
