- I have owned by BMW M2 Competition from new.
Enjoyed countless track days, driving holidays, family adventures and days out with friends.
It has enabled me to learn competent track driving skills and developed me into a more capable driver all round...
Introduced me to like minded enthusiasts...
After 2.5 years and 25,000 miles - I've decided to say goodbye!

Going for the M2 with N55 engine, its the better car, with more feedback and exhaust sound, almost 100kg lighter, and no crankhube failure.

I'm thinking about selling my beloved E92 M3 for one of these. Will miss the v8 but the fuel costs at the moment are just killing me.

The M2 will run more efficiently HOWEVER don’t think it will be a cheap daily.
It’s capable to consistent 25mpg but you’ll have to drive it like your nan to achieve those figures.

I’v a 997.2 C2 for the past 2 years as a daily but in a better position to add a LBB M2C DCT as another 2nd car and share with the missus. Also, back seats are bigger for the kids on the M2C. Thoughts?

Good time to sell I think with the new 240i arguably a 'better' all round car and the new M2 just around the corner. When I let mine go a few weeks ago I initially was thinking have I made the right decision but within a day that feeling had gone. A great car it was but I do not miss it.

I think your new car would be the new M240. I am a big bmw fan beeing that for many years now, and i have never driven a light M version like the new G42 M240 that feels and drive so close to a real M car before. Bmw have realy raised the bars now, and for that i love them more then ever. Can You imagine How good and special the new M2 must feel and be?? ❤️❤️🥰👍🏻

This didn't age so well, I just bought a 2020 M2C, and I have zero regrets. Future classic without a doubt, the "OG" is probably the best value right now and hoping once I pay off the M2C I can buy me a OG as well, these cars are sweet.

Bought a clip cup 197 with a megane turbo engine. For track.
Hot fed up of being held up on the roads cameras everywhere.
It's the same progression I made on my bikes from road to track.
