    E46 m3 has been my dream car since I first saw the E46 m3 GTR at Laguna seca back when it was still racing still a dream car of mine, thanks for giving it the love it deserves I honestly do think the E46 m3 is an amazing chassis minus a few of the quality control things that can be fixed anyways.

    People love to claim Ohlins is overpriced, but I’ve been through various different setups. Cars/bikes and have never been disappointed with an ohlins setup! They also have great customer service here in the states

    I'd love to see how you guys tweak the adjustment knobs on the TTX based on how you feel the car handling. I think a lot of us are used to single adjustment knobs, so I'm interested in seeing how the additional adjustment is factored in.

      Weil das ein neues Produkt ist, und sie bereit waren für eine Kooperation um ein gutes setup für die Nordschleife zu entwickeln :)

      Ich hab das TTX seit einem Jahr in meinem E46 M3 drin. Ein Weltenunterschied zu anderen Fahrwerken. Natürlich auch preislich auf der gehobenen Seite, aber ist halt GT3/GTE Technik.

    Is it possible that having external reservoir on the damper so close to break disc may change characteristics of damper because of the heat?

    There doesn't appear to be any reinforcement on the rear strut tower. With the change to a "true coilover" on the rear, will there not be more force going through the strut mounting position? Unless this was done as part of the roll cage and I just forgot!

    Everybody gangster until a track BMW rocks up with öhlins suspension. But in all seriousness, great build mate, I’m seriously considering getting an E46 M3 as well! Are you going to mess with the shifter at all (CAE for example).

      @@heelandtoe_ Absolutely love to hear that mate :) I’ve had one im my f80 m3 for a year or so now and genuinely dont ever want to drive anything else. Ich bin ehrlicherweise auch einer der menschen der die serien BMW schaltgetriebe vom gefühl nur gehtso-geil findet, deshalb CAE ❤️

      Rear subframe mounts have been reinfocred with plates from the bottom, and cage through top

      @@heelandtoe_ I think he is talking about the suspension mount itself, as by converting it to a 'true coilover' instead of the stock separate damper and spring arrangement, you are now putting more load through the top mount. I would also be interested to know the answer to this.

    Ich baue gerade meinen M2 Comp. um und da das KW Competition 3A EXR schlecht bzw nicht lieferbar ist denke ich an Öhlins. Finde leider nur dieses Advanced Trackday Fahrwerk...ist das nicht vergleichbar mit einem KW Clubsport? Doch lieber auf das KW Competiton warten? Was meinst du dazu? Welches würdest du mir empfehlen?

    Nitrons are a pretty well renowned good brand suspension, was wondering why you went to the ohlins, looked up the price of them 😱, must be a good setup!

      One of the best, they use the TTX system on Singers, Koenigsegg, etc

      I would have a question. Which car manufacturer uses Nitron in their factory racing cars. TCR GT4 GT3 GTE etc?

      I'm sure Nitrons are good - but I think the ones that were in the car are no match for this. I obviously have no experience with the TTX models yet, as it's a brand new release for the BMW M models. But given where it is being used i'm sure its an insane setup!

      He wrote in a comment above in German that he did the swap because he got a good promotional deal out of Öhlins. Nitron R1 are amazing (better than comparable KW/Bilstein), but if you are really looking forward to fine tune everything according to track and weather you need the possibility to adjust Hi/Low speed damping and rebound. For this I would go with Nitron R3, but since he has a Promo deal with Öhlins I guess I would have done the same.
      @Matthias Nitron are OEM for Lotus and Schirmer and supply various race teams.
