One additional feature which the indian society,largely the middle class,which has grown exponentially has followed is the concept of meritocracy in all walks of life..be it bureaucracy, private sector or even armed forces..this has helped the country in propelling itself to higher levels of science,tech,administration, etc etc..
Arshad ji rightly pointed out that Hindus hatred towards Muslim is out of REACTION.Further he told that if Muslims worldwide continue to behave in the same old fashioned towards other religion, they will be treated like untouchables. He gave example of a Chinese ruler saying that if required people can bring drastic changes within, the way he did. According to him only scientific approach brings development in a Nation. He finally told that for Indian Muslims there is a lesson to be learnt from Pakistani Muslims that worldwide Indian Muslims have respect because they are associated with Indian Hindus. They have to keep country first above their religion.

Politicians must take the blame for all this nonsense. Religious leaders will be in control if political parties focus on good governance. This requires goodwill, wisdom, statesmanship, patience, tolerance and all those qualities that make a land heaven on earth.
What they show is hell and a promise of heaven after death.

My take is that " education and science" only can make the human forget rigid religious activity and religion will fisile out eventually. Thanks to the speaker and to this programme which I got to view after a long time.
