- Wanted to share with you the exterior and interior lights on the Palisade Calligraphy.
I did change the stock license plate lights to LED bulbs.

I own a KIA and prefer the exterior look of the Telluride over Palisade. BUT, given the quirks and features the Palisade has over the Telluride, PLUS at a lower MSRP, the Palisade is much more appealing to the majority of people I reckon.
I suspect you are talking about pre-23 models. For 2023MY Kia destroyed the looks of the Telluride while Hyundai improved/nailed the Palisade.
@@tpnowlen275Kia did not destroy the looks. The headlights did loose the yellow led but that’s pretty much it. Telluride now has an off-road packages.
@@al151 go to iihs and check out the headlight performance charts. It cost KIA the plus rating. Tellurides lost their good looks, and that off-road package is a joke... mostly cosmetic.
Same here I like the exterior of the telluride but the interior of the palisade.

I'm a Ford Explorer man but this this Hyundai is incredible lots and lots of features and technology😮😂❤ got a price you can't beat it definitely a lot of bang for the buck American auto makers should take notice😂

Why does the brightness of the ambient lighting decrease when the gear is set to D ? What is the reason for this? Is it possible to make the ambient lighting full brightness while driving as the car on P ?
I assume so that it doesn't distract the driver.
Does the rear moon roof shade open automatically? Does the glass open on the rear roof? Can you turn off the chime for the lift gate?
no the rear roof glass does not open.

Yes it opens automatically. The control for it is right next to the control for the front sunroof
Does that armrest have that Napa leather look in all calligraphy’s?
No. My Calligraphy does not have that padded console cover. It must be something he found locally or made himself.
How does the HDA work at nights?
It works great. I drove it across country last summer and drove during the night. It was great!
Does the front door handle lights up, it looks like it in the video, can you confirm?
Yes they light up as you walk up. Limited will do it too, not sure on other trims

Get one... We have a 2020 Limited (Calligraphy), no regrets...
@@tavo3234 yeah man we just traded in our Sorento for a 2023 calligraphy trim but we have to wait for it to get here.

@@tavo3234 man we loved it! It’s looks are awesome and it feels sporty in my opinion and since it’s not super big to me it felt nice in the way it moved around. We had the 2021 Sorento sx prestige xline so it was the new design and it was the top trim and interior was nice and my family of 5 fit pretty good. The only thing is that trunk space with all the seats up is pretty small and with growing kids we just need more room for storing things they will need and also for trips it gets a bit tight. And all that is still doable but I just want more room. But like I said there is really nothing I didn’t like. The pano roof also great in it. I know the 2022 and up got a couple more nice features and if you get a lower trim you get a bench seat in 2nd row so that’s also another thing to consider but honestly I would recommend it and specially if you have only 2 kids or less space wouldn’t be an issue at all. Also I’m about 5’7-5’8 and I’ve sat in the 3rd row and it’s not bad at all I could sit there for a good while with no problems. You should go and check it out and drive it and just check it out. What are you looking for in your next 🚘?
@@Jose_cab Sounds perfect for me... We have 2 kids and I feel like the Palisade is a little too big... The Sorento sounds just right for a family of 4 to go on trips... Nice upgrade...
