The seat looks low - do they have a seat a little higher? Or is it high enough to be comfortable all day ? Still, would like to see it compare to another boat head to head. Nice video 👍

Man this is a nice pedal drive kayak. I have been looking to buy a pedal drive kayak for a while now. The problem that I'm having is my foot is extremely too wide for the pedal straps. With my foot being 6 1/2 inches wide with very chubby fat wide toe that are equally straight across my foot will not fit through those straps. Maybe if my toes were at a 45-degree angle like everybody else's toes are and not straight across it might work out for me. Like your crocs! They would not fit on my feet because of my toes being too fat and straight across. When I tried them all they were crushing and hurting my toes but they fit my son just perfect. I tell you Aliex it really really sucks having a very very extremely wide foot with chubby fat wide toes that are straight across. Thank you for sharing your video.
Just remove the straps. It’s not a requirement to keep them on!
@@BigShticks Hello yes I could remove the straps but I still would have problems with the pedals. With me being a chubby fat dude & my foot being extremely wide I would have pain in the bottom of my foot or my foot will fall off the pedals because of them being too wide. I have to kayak barefooted 👣 because of my foot outgrew shoes , socks , & boots 35 years ago & flip flops is the only footwear that will barely fit on my foot because my toes are wider than the flip-flop straps. My toes being straight across is one problem & my foot being 6 1/2 inch wide is the second problem i have. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

The pedals are, you can move the cranks closer
So does it have a reverse mode?
No instant you can pull out the drive an d reverse it takes a second

looks like a fun little recrational yak just for messing around on the pond but definitely not viable for serious fishing...especially for someone like me at 240lbs, with a 40lb dog, and tons of gear. That being said, I am sure Pelican is not marketing this boat for that demographic anyway. Plus, the lack of reverse is a total show stopper.
Edit: I was intrigued by this video as far as maybe a good kid kayak so I did a deeper dive...Alex makes great videos, but you have to wonder about the objectivity when he got this for free...this kayak is getting really horrible reviews all around.
