Ans: NO .... As glycolic acid cannot be replaced with salicylic acid as glycolic acid is an exfoliant and salicylic acid is used to treat blackheads, whiteheads and open pores....

Both are exfoliants but salicylic acid is a bha which is better for oily skin as salicylic acid desolves in oil .
Glycolic acid is an aha which is suited more for dry skin as it does not strip down the essential oils from the face.

Grt video❤never seen such a brief explanation about body tan👏👏
Ans..No, we can't replace Glycolic acid with Salicylic acid for Tan Removal..
Glycolic acid is a AHA ,water soluble which penetrate into skin deeply and easily, and breakdown bond between dead skin cell on the surface of skin,so exfoliate the dead skin cells and make skin brighter, smoother, remove sun tan..
It also increase cell turnover rate of epithelial cells, help in peeling ,so it also help in collagen production.
And Salicylic acid is a BHA,oil and water soluble that penetrate into the pores deeply and dissolve oil, impurities that clog the pores. So It unclog pores ,removes whiteheads, blackheads and reduce sebum secretion and also treat acne..
So,we can't replace Glycolic acid with Salicylic acid for Tan Removal. Glycolic acid exfoliate the top layer of skin and help in tan removal. Salicylic acid exfoliate oil, impurities from pores. Both are exfoliant but used for different purpose of skin problems..

Salicylic Acid is BHA which Exfoliate deeper layer of skin.
Eg: Open pores , Close Commodones Treatment , Acne, spot treatment, unclogging pores

Hello beautiful Nipun ma'am 🧡 love from Delhi 💚
The answer is: No we shouldn't replace glycolic acid with Salicylic acid for tab removal, even though Salicylic acid can beautifully exfoliate the skin yet it isn't recommended. The reason is that Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) preferred for a skin which is more acne prone or excessively oily, as Salicylic acid helps to control the oil levels and sebum production hence it can be a little too drying for the skin. Whereas glycolic acid being a AHA is superb for tan removal as it has brightening properties and it doesn't leave skin very dry either.
Ma'am it's a request, bring back your room as background, kindly remove the green screen I insist. Your home decor is very pretty.🤗❤️
Also I'm very excited for this Vit C DIY coming this week🙌🏻🤩 (I can't afford this serum for whole body 😅).

YES it can remove tan but however salicylic acid may be more effective for treating tan caused by sun exposure because it can penetrate deeper into the skin and help to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores which can contribute to an uneven skin tone. That said glycolic acid can also help to improve skin tone and reduce the appearance of tan over time by promoting exfoliation and cell turnover. It may be a gentler option for those with sensitive skin compared to salicylic acid.

Ans: we cannot replace glycolic acid with salicylic acid for tan removal..
Glycolic acid works primarily on the surface of the skin, promoting exfoliation and cell turnover, which helps to fade tans and even out skin tone.
Whereas salicylic acid its primary action targets deeper within the pores, making it more suitable for acne treatment and oily skin concerns.

  • @jashimjazzx675
    @jashimjazzx675 Před 6 měsíci +1

    Answer - no
    Explanation -
Both glycolic acid and salicylic acid are exfoliating acids, but they work differently. Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that primarily targets the upper layer of the skin, helping to exfoliate dead skin cells and improve texture. Salicylic acid, on the other hand, is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that can penetrate oil, making it effective for treating acne and unclogging pores.
While glycolic acid can contribute to tan removal by exfoliating the skin, salicylic acid may not be as effective for this specific purpose. If your goal is tan removal, it's generally recommended to use products containing glycolic acid or other AHAs.

  • @Aabroo491

    1) No, Salicylic acid is a bha that only works on open pores, acne, blackheads nd whiteheads whereas Glycolic acid is an AHA that works on removing tan by shedding dead skin cells on our skin, helps in lightening pigmentation nd promotes skin brightening.

Hiii Dear Nipun, I'm a huge fan of your highly interactive, interesting and informative videos. These videos not only tell us a lot but also develops great awareness amongst the crowd. I'm really grateful to you for your content and awesomely informative videos. Lots of love and support to you, keep shining and smiling ❤️ ❤️
Also, the answer for today according to me is :-
Glycolic and Salicylic Acid are both widespread skin care products which work similarly on different skin types. Glycolic acid is an AHA(Alpha Hydroxy Acid)which works as an exfoliant on all skin types reducing hyperpigmentation, appearance of wrinkles and pores while increasing skin complexion and firmness. To the contrary, Salicylic acid is a BHA(Beta Hydroxy Acid) which also is a skin care product working as an exfoliant more prominently on acne prone and oily skin reducing hyperpigmentation and sebum secretion.
Thus, the answer to your question according to me is that the use of any of the acid clearly depends on your skin type as glycolic acid can work on any skin type without any exceptions whereas salicylic acid is used only on oily and acne prone skin because it can cause dryness, irritation and cause allergic reactions in some cases. The more suitable product for Tan removal is glycolic acid and replacing it with salicylic acid for Tan removal is not something worth it.

Both glycolic acid and salicylic acid can help with tan removal but they work in different ways and are suitable for different skin types. Glycolic Acid is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), it works by Exfoliating the top layer of skin, revealing brighter skin underneath.
Salicylic Acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA), it works: by exfoliating the top layer of skin and penetrates deeper to unclog pores and reduce sebum production.
option to choose for tan removal depends on your skin type and concerns ,For dry or sensitive skin-glycolic acid at a lower concentration will work and For oily or acne-prone skin: Salicylic acid might be a better choice, starting with a low concentration

    Hey, Nipun
It's been more than 6 months since I found out about your channel and I love your videos and your honest opinion❤.
I have a question please address it. I'm 23 yr old and I've a hollow under-eye area plus dark circle I don't know what should i do it's genetic😢. I've tried everything possible like face yoga and 7 hrs of sleep but nothing helps. I want to know about all the treatments and their risks as I've done my own research and found out eye fillers are very risky and in the long term can cause problems.
