That moment when you added the highlight to his eye, the whole piece was suddenly given so much life and emotion. Seriously incredible.
Penny DellaPelle the eyes are a window to the soul
I gushed to my boyfriend with absolute delight that you had posted a video with a voiceover! I've been watching your videos for about a year now, and it's wonderful to hear you talk about your materials and process. I've heard a bit of you on Patreon, but this voiceover felt a bit like meeting someone in person for the first time. I love love love your work, and I so appreciate the videos you post for us!

So inspirational, every time I watch a video of yours I feel the urge to create myself. Thank you for sharing.
I really like the texture and how vibrant the colours seem in this painting.😊
isn't it amazing how beautiful art evolves out of weird - not seeming to work together - colour splashes???
incredible portrait painting video this video inspire me. thanks for share
I don’t know why but it’s always fun watching somebody painting. Thanks for uploading
Brother, you are more of a teacher than you will ever imagine - you lead by example, which is the best way any of us can learn. Thank you for this incredible demonstration of technique -
Your color palette is amazing! Such a pleasure to watch how this "puzzle" is being solved
I love your use of yellow would have never thought of putting it in a face in such a bright manner as you did... seems like people dont need to be teachers to share knowledge, thanks!
That is pure art. I personally love paintings to have that quality of being about both paint and subject. Wet-on-wet appeals to me greatly. Watching your approach and paint application was medicine to my spirit. I admire your style greatly. I too paint but too often push paint and over-blend producing mud. Paint on!
Thank you so much for this beautiful demo.
I really love these portraits! I began as an oil painter, but have started to do more digital portrait paintings... its so lovely to watch the textures of oil again! 🌿🌿🌿🌿
Thanks!
At first, I thought it was painting a big more colorful face, but the more you paint later, you will feel the natural balance of transitional natural light and the beautiful and true patterns that are particularly pleasing to the eye. That is the success of your work and achievement!
Man what's up. I love how you executed this painting. With harmonious colors. You are another inspiration.
Incredible!!! I'm just starting out with painting and watching this video has helped me a lot!! The simplified "chunky" style of painting makes it easier to distinguish shifts in tone and color in the face(in comparison to really smooth faces, ya know), especially as it comes together, and that's really interesting to watch as a baby artist.
Another thing that gets me is how deliberate each brush stroke is? None of them seem like they don't hold a purpose in the painting, and when they're accentuated with the style, it makes 'em look super cool and purposeful!!
Thank you so much for a wonderful video!!! I really appreciate all the effort you put into the work and all the thought you put into all those resources!! It means a lot!
Thank you!
Np!! Keep up the good work! Glad to have found the channel :^D
Love, love, love this!!!

Artistic colour
fantastic as always many thanks for this video
your dry humor is really the highlight of this video😂
Just rewatching this because it’s a fantastic painting (as usual) and I loved listening to your voice too. Cheers!
Thank you for this video. Although not a tutorial, it is very helpful. There are a lot of poor quality‘tutorials’ on CZcams by people who clearly cannot paint. Your artwork is excellent - it’s clear that you have worked hard for many years. Thanks again.
Love your "chunk" brush work hope to see more.
Awesome!
Nice attitude. There are waaaaaay too many experts! out there who think they've cracked it. Love your style and thanx for sharing.

The music on this was so much better than the other painting videos ive seen recently. Had me moving🤣🤣🤣
thanks for sharing!
I don t know why but I love the curvy light yellow line/stroke next to the nose. I watched a few times over how the line came to be, seemed to just kind of happened. but I feel like a lot of strokes are like that, some planned, some intuitive, and sometimes something on the canvas happens without us realizing it. Then we watch the result and don t really know how it happened, How nice for you to have it recorded
I know exactly the stroke you're talking about. Totally unplanned, but I thought it was interesting and preserved it.
Gorgeous! The colors and texture you use create so much depth.. Thanks so much for sharing - every time I watch your videos I get inspired to paint :)

SUPER!!!
Interesting work. I'm used to seeing paintings progress and preferring them in the earlier stages rather than later - when they so often become what I feel is overworked. It is almost the other way around with your paintings. At the half way stage I'm thinking that, if it were me doing the painting, I would be wanting to scrape it back and start again ... and yet they all seem to come together at in the latter moments.
you-you you are really amazing
Ur art is so goood
Gracias!
Très bien exécuté. Bravo...
For someone who doesn't think that their a teacher ? I loved your tutorial... lol , even giving more thought and information than many others, I've been watching
Your in some cases just what the doctor ordered... Great job 👏 I'll be tuning in!! 👍 thx ! Ciao bella!!
thank you very much!
love it! so Liepkesque
nice!
No you are my teacher i learn ALOT from you
Excellent! Greetings from Mexico.
Great painting. So what are some of the best ways to paint wet paint on top of wet paint without it mixing together?
Paint thin to thick, sticky to slick. Less medium for the under layer and really load the brush for thick stuff on top. Don't press too hard. Anticipate some mixing. It's all about viscosity. Sticky paint, applied thinly wants to stick to the canvas. Looser paint can lay on top without disturbing the underlayment much.
Thanks, that is really helpful information. I appreciate it. Peace.
喜欢你的画,画的很结实。
