We visited the Guangzhou fish market with tons of stands that carry every fish imaginable - koi, arowana, guppies, discus, flowerhorns, oscars, angelfish, rainbowfish, axolots, and more. The reason why they're able to keep such high volumes of fish in great condition is because most of them are locally bred in China, they are given tons of water changes to keep the water quality high, and every tank has lots of air for extra oxygenation.

Some reason won’t let me in group 😢
That is incredible! Throughout this entire video I gasped in amazement. Those goldfish and koi are crazy beautiful and huge! 😃 Oh my goodness! My mind is blown
They got that big eating Chinese food!
I just love the carved stone. The selection is incredible. So many fish in a single tank.
You're very fortunate to visit these places.
Chinese fish culture is huge. I’m very proud and welcome to China!
Eastern aquarium industry is massive and more advanced than the west it's very impressive.
Videos like this make me super nostalgic. My family is originally from the South of China (Guandong province and Hong Kong), and the aquarium markets looked almost the same as they do in this video. Haven't been back in years, but now I can't help but start looking for plane tickets! lol
Hello Cory, I will be opening a fish store in Los Angeles (Torrance area) around August 1st. I would love to carry aquarium co op products to give people in Los Angeles the chance to pick up your products in store!

The rock ponds are AMAZING, the fish market is just 😮. What an incredible adventure this must've been Corey!
Love love love these videos! So glad the videos from China finally coming out. Also so jealous of the crazy amount of selection. Thank you Cory and team for thr amazing video!
Wow that's crazy, must be nice to be able to travel places like this.
Those short-body longfin platinums @ 6:50. . . Wow! 😍Thanks, Cory!
Great Vid, I am an Aussie living in Zhuhai, about a 1hr drive from that market. Happy you can share the amazing fish markets here with the world. Oh and its even hotter here now, they say the heat begins to get unbearable in May,, and then it just gets worse, haha.
Gotta love the footage you come back with from a different world!
such a shame the video is so short, i could watch hours of this.
Very good video. It is clean and excellently presented, it is also designed to impart life and preservation of the details in Gross Domestic Product and having them accounted. Investments supplies that are maintained/preserved. Thank you.
Another great video! Love to see all the variety and the healthy fish - so cool! Thanks for such great content!
Wow! Love those wood style ponds. Some of those fishes are breathing hard but that’s just the way it is in a fish market. So many options 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Been looking forward to these videos. Thank you.
Absolutely amazing!! Thanks for the video Cory!
Hope you managed to get over to visit Tung Choi street (Goldfish street) in HK, it's so worth the effort if you're that side of the world!
LOVE the videos of China. Great commentary great everything!
So excited been patiently waiting for these!
Absolutely amazing! So many fish!
I wonder how the shop keepers feel about your video taking? I would never get away with taking videos of any business in China. It's great to have this video to share with us!
Oddly, nobody seems offended from being recorded. The vast majority of people in the video just carried on with their business or lack thereof
Way cool. Sooo many fish.
Great video, very interesting to see how other places run their markets👌
Those carved rock pieces got me feeling inspired too😂
Wow!I just cant imagine being there,I would never want to leave! How healthy all those fish look inspite of the high bio load in those tanks
Absolutely love this video all those fish and colors are amazing!!
The monster fish multi pack bagged up is un-real. Heck, everything here is so crazy. Really cool to see!
I'm waiting for you to visit the fish markets in India someday🇮🇳
Galiff Street Fish Market in Kolkata and Kurla Fish Market in Mumbai are two of them🙏🏻
P.s: Loved the vid❤

Did you see any innovative dry goods like lights or filters while you were there?
Also, did you eat any ChangFen?
Wow that’s incredible
You should come to Thailand bankok super market ❤❤
fish lovers heaven
Amazing
Amazing Thank you. Our only pet shop, Pet Smart has not had fantail goldfish in over a year. They have comet feeder fish. An Oranda, not in 2-3 years. Could drive 2-3 hours one way, to look around. I have had not much success when I have done that.
This is so amazing!
Good
Times have got tough really tough I considered stopping my membership a few times of course you understand. But I’m glad I didn’t this was a refreshing video I miss catching your live streams good job sir Cory speaks Chinese aye ???
They tattoo blood parrots??! What??
I want to take home all the chunky goldfish. So adorable. Great video! Thanks for sharing ❤️
Time stamp 8:40 look at the health of the discus. ❤❤
Beautiful! Must be hard to see all those amazing fish and be unable to take any home. But probably for the best 😅
I love these videos but I always have so many questions about the economics behind these markets. Are there really that many people within their service area that have that many big tanks where they have monster fish prepackaged and ready to go? The volume of fish for sale vs the amount of customers doesn't make sense to me either. So fascinating to me, what am I missing?
Yes, me too. I understand that Guangzhou is 20 times the size of Seattle and twice the size of NYC, but how can there be that many customers for a large bag of Adult discus or a monster fish? It’s amazing!
For many Chinese it's very auspicious to keep a certain number of fish in a tank in their homes or businesses (feng shui). Unfortunately, not all take care of their fish properly so there may be some turnover and need for replacement fish.
This is our culture, related to Feng Shui, tradition.
Very cool tour! Thank you. I have no idea how you could bear that heat. 🤔
I love these videos their grate thank you so much for sharing with us members keep up the grate work corndog
Ended when you got to Swordtail my fish😂 great video love these.✌🐟
I live in Southern China too. With the price of delivery coming down, most people in PRC would buy pet fish online and ship to their home within 2 to 3 days. Very convenient now. SF Express is one of the best delivery company. They even deliver overseas too much like a Fedex.
Really impressive, yes the colors, but also fat well fed fish too. You can about see the heat.
Does anyone know the lights they use with the red heu to them?? Make the goldfish pop. Would love them for my tank
| wonder how much those big stone water features sell for there? they look great. If one of out pretentious garden centers got hold of those, they'd be charging about £2500 easy.
2:33 HA! I got some of those same pieces of clay pottery from China.
This is pure insanity! I thought my city had good choice of fish stores and fish, but this... Absolute dream!
The goldfish in the vase blew my mind.
One day I am gonna be buying from these markets ❤
the amount of time i could spend here just looking at fish....oh man
i cant even imagne having that much of a selection of goldfish
Cory I don't know, if you are still in china but I will like to see you video the biggest blackmoor goldfish. What an awesome vid.

awesome i could stay all day 114 here today in Glendale Arizona he he he :( makes me wanta go back home to Seattle , or Tacoma (yes-no?)
that was one big goldfish / koi! I wonder how long they stay bagged or if they go to the airport?
Good video but has advertisement

Where is this market located in Guangzhou.

真得好想去😢
At 3:02 i thought that was a slick video transition

May/June, 2023. ~ Zenzo
想去买点😂i whant to go get some fish
Got a question for anyone who can awnser. I received a albino pleco that was shipped with methylene blue in it and the Albino Bristlenose head is blue how do I get it off him? I tried quick rinse and very light rub with my finger and is in a tank now but his head still blue please help.
Just leave him alone and stay on top of your husbandry, and he'll shed the blue on his own over time. Methylene blue is just very, very staining, but as he grows he will shed it.
@@Finkeldinken ok cool deal thanks
I live in Wuhan, China and always love the quality of fish that I get.
Location pls
I have a question if anyone can ask, can a amazon sword live in a 15 gallon tank, cause I'm planning on getting a 15 gal low tech betta fish tank and I just wanted to know if I can put a amazon sword in a 15 gallon, cause I know they get big
I would not use an Amazon Sword in that small of a tank. It will get way too big for the tank if the conditions are right. I would instead go with Java Fern or Java Moss. They are easy to take care of. Good luck!
How much does the lighting play into how good the fish look? Seems like they use lights that skew red.
How do they keep the fish so healthy !!
First comment!
pretty interesting, the tattooed fish is rather sad though.
Are there any dangerous kinds of pests/microorganisms that can end up in a tank? I just have a 5 gallon with only a betta and there are at least 2 different microorganisms in my tank, possibly more but they are so tiny I cant actually tell if they're alive or just some kind of algae/scum. I haven't read anything that says microorganisms in your tank can be dangerous to fish but they can be to shrimp. Most of what I read says its actually a good sign of an established aquarium with high water quality.
Always fun to be in a new country without needing to be groomed by the TSA 😂😁🥰. My two Nile Puffers Arrived in perfect condition today , their being drip/small water changes every 30 minuets for 2 hours 😁 and my whole 75 gallon is very excited !
CHINA MEANS PASSION WORKING PEOPLE.....
Yo want to tell u something

I visit china..can I get the name and the location of this market pls ?
Why are all the fish bagged?
This is so interesting. I gotta visit China one day. Im surprised Cory is back in China so soon, haha. The way they bag the fish and just leave it there all day is insane.
The fish market is beautiful amazing how they have been able create this. Hoping for Chinese to experience freedom in the future.
"technically" it's Monday
CORY. IT ACTUALLY IS MONDAY WHERE YOU ARE.
Is it legal to use hormones in China to boost their color?
i feel sad for those inside the bags 😢
