I agree, a lot of people seem to be hesitant about punch, which is why I usually shy away from doing it at a party! I remember making a couple batches of eggnog at a Christmas party one year. For a Christmas party I was surprised on how not many people went for it! Ended up with A LOT of leftovers.

  • @DickTangoTV
    @DickTangoTV Před 4 lety

    You really should stick to volume measurements for liquid. Doesn't make sense to use weight, as the volume of a liquid is consistent. The reason dry ingredients use weight is that they can be compacted to different extents, making the volume vary while the weight stays the same. There's no reason this recipe should let make me use a scale instead of a measuring cup.
    To avoid sounding like a big complainer, I love the vid otherwise! I'll be giving this punch a try when I throw an after-epidemic house party.

    • @TheEducatedBarfly
      @TheEducatedBarfly  Před 4 lety +2

      I get what you're saying but doing things by weight (even liquid) is much more accurate than volume and that's why they do it. It is how they do it too and I tend to recreate recipes using the technique from the bar whenever possible. That said, I support your grumpiness LOL
