I looked around and realized I was going to end up one of the two. I grew up, changed my life, went in the Military and started a family. I think everyone can appreciate the overall message you’re sending. But the way you went about it is probably what has people looking at you weird. I don’t know I’ve always been taught that it’s not necessarily what you say but how you say it. And you’re right if people don’t like what you say they shouldn’t watch your videos. Another thing is talking down on "gangsters" I lived that life and ofcourse am now a grown man who has a family , I go to work every day , I am not a baller like you , but when you've face life a few times and been back there you appreciate the things in life that really matter, and money is not one of them , family is . Freedom is . I'll be completely honest with you, I watch all these prison channels, I like to hear different perspectives, different views, different stories , because it's like therapy. I don't ever want to forget what it's like back there . I don't ever want my kids to be in a situation like I was. I consider myself a cholo , and am proud of it , I think it's a damn shame that the youth today have embraced another race and their culture when they don't want anything to do with us . I lived in Boyle heights in the 70s and that's where I learned to speak as a child . I gang banged In the late 80s and early 90s . I started doing time , and spent 16 years in prison. I've been to the real yards and did time with them vatos. I am not proud of some of the things I have done but I'm proud to be raza , Chicano , cholo . I speak calo , but I can also carry a conversation with anyone in any situation. I just think if you are going to use the word cholo act like one .
