If you ever decided to produce the music for a pixel art game I'd buy it in an instant whatever it is. Just imagine a game like Terraria with this kind of soundtrack. So damn good.
Hey Joshua, thanks brother! Ya never know, there’s a good chance I’ll do that in the future! :)
These are all bangers. Absolutely amazing... If I'd heard these on my Gameboy headphones in 1993 I'd have been floored.
Thanks Fiona, hope your 2023 has been great so far 💜🙏
The tune is great as always but you not being able to see you're devices is even more impressive... You are an incredible musician and I hope that the amount of effort you put into you're compositions will pay off!!!
Thanks so much for the generous compliment! Really appreciate the support and encouragement 😀🙏
classics immediately. I love 8-bit stuff, because for me it can bring back the music creation spaces that "you can make anything" DAWS don't do for me. A specifically crafted space with limited functionality but unlimited creativity.
The beeps and boops sounds so beautiful
man all the songs you put out are bangers for real
Thanks Tegeken! Really appreciate your ongoing support my friend :)
Insane. Love the composition. The secondary synths and primary work together flawlessly
Hey Thomas, I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the kind words 😀
FROM THE SPECIAL GLASYS GALAXY...OTHER WORLDLY !
I'm on a mission to like and share all this guy's videos so he can get more subs and views because he is so incredibly talented. He gives me that feeling that I only get once in a blue moon when I see an artist play...
Hey Steven! You’re too kind my friend, thanks so much! I truly appreciate it! 🙌🙏
The amount of key changes in this baffles me. This is incredible
Thanks Jake! I am a fan of modulations, can’t help it 😅
I hope an indie game project picks you up to do their music someday!
Your creative ideas and original music are epic.
Thanks Matt, I appreciate you man!
Still some of my favorite tunes of all time
Thanks for listening 💙🙏
this slaps so hard
Thanks! Glad you like it! 🙏😀
So Masterful. Love hearing this music. i can see you in a huge Place with a huge stage in front of millions of people and everyone would be completely silent and on edge until you are done and then the uproar of applause..... Fabulous!
Thanks Brandon! You make me feel like going on tour again 😀
Wow!!! Amazing 😍I love how you pan the answering synth, such a beautiful effect
Hi Ella! Thanks so much 😀🙏
The combination of creativity and perfection is fantastic. Keep it up!
You’re very kind, thank you! 🙏
Love the gameboy but more importantly this amazing piece you wrote! Video game music designer worthy in my book!
That’s very kind of you to say, thanks so much! Glad you like it 🙏🙌
@@GLASYS Aye youre sooo close to hitting 200k, I cant wait to see whatcha got in store for us! Hope ya had a great christmas and a happy new year bro 😃
The melody is weird and beautiful at the same time that makes it very interesting!
First: You are amazing.
Second: How many takes did you need to get this?
Third: Keep being you. Your music is a gift to all of us.
Thanks so much! Well it’s not a live recording, so I didn’t have to worry about nailing it 100%. But it was still tricky getting my fingers on all the right keys without seeing them, took a bunch of attempts! :)
This is insane, I love this so much! Great job!
Thanks my friend, I appreciate you 💜
Ya never miss brother!...big choon and big vid concept, thats exactly what such 8bit type music still does to me, puts me in another dimension.
Infact, when i was young, i would hook my gameboy up to the sound system, volume cranked up to 11 and lay on the floor just like that, in a pure nintendo coma! haha...all the hits, robocop, wario land, gradius, battletoads and double dragon, zelda, motocross maniacs etc....the GB was an audio factory, i loved the fact music select was a standard feature in 90s gaming!
Hey Seeker, thanks my friend! That sounds like GB heaven, wish I had speakers like that as a kid! I’d use headphones :)
@@GLASYS No worries, indeed...headphones, full speakerss, the attachment speakers, all the extras, 50 plus games...11 years old, nothing was given, i hustled it all by buying and selling, video games was and still is an obsession...thinking back, i cant believe i done all that, it was like an auto pilot acquiring haze.
But yeah, a best friend would end up stealing the lot...i saw all my gear displayed in the front window of a second hand game shop...i kept looking in at the store front window back and forth like a hundred times haha...i just could not believe my eyes!
@@seeker2657 oh man… some friend he was! That’s crazy
@@GLASYS Exactly! haha...bit random, but perhaps ya may be interested in watching/listening to a game called shied maiden remix, the music is insanely good and actually sounds like you made it, maybe ya did?...the second stage has your signature style all over it in particular etc.
@@seeker2657 always happy to hear good VGM! Feel free to email me a link
Cozy. Reclining on a plush carpet gives me all the hygge.
The cross-rhythms made my week ❤
pretty haunting melody ... thank you for getting that one stuck in my head for the next 3 days ... I played along with my guitar watching your hands on the keyboard ,,, cool
Lol thanks! I’m glad you played along, that makes me happy :)
Amigo! Luego de mucho tiempo youtube me volvió a notificar este canal que casi olvido 😅 y en verdad eres un genio! Voy a darme un repaso de lo que me perdí 🎶
Thanks for coming back my friend! Appreciate your kind words! 🙏
This is art
This should have been in the final battle of all Pokemon games!
Accidentally listened to this at x1.5 speed the first time round, it just about fried my brain. Much better at the proper speed
Beautiful Man.... Wow! 🔥❤️🔥
Thank you, really glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Awesome work man, great job
Mood
Wow! That was so much fun, I have to listen over and over again.

Great stuff as always! I went and got the album on bandcamp, which is very small repayment for the hours of enjoyment I've gotten out of your channel.

Been a while, glad you're back
Enjoyed the unique style you bring to your songs, truly wonderful
Thanks my friend 🙏
I could see this being and overworld event theme for Terraria, I am such a fan of your work
Thank you! I played Terraria for a while years ago, enjoyed the game
Always getting me in the nostalgia feels! Truly incredible at what you do
Hey thanks so much. I’m glad you like it 💜🙏
Dude have you ever composed music for a videogame company ?? Every single time your tunes open up the doors to amazing imaginary worlds. 🎮🎹
Thanks so much Esteban! I haven’t yet, but I’m open to the possibility! :)
@@GLASYS Although it would be epic seeing your name on the credits, we love to see you en CZcams
Magnificent as always. Great Job
Thanks Jeff 🙏
I love this!
Thanks! 😀🙏
Woah really cool video, very trippy and dream-like. I love the song, it makes me wistful and hopeful of good times before happening some time again
Thanks my friend, appreciate it! 🙏
I really enjoyed this!
Thanks Michael! 🙏
@@GLASYS Dude, you're the best! I've noticed you've been getting a lot more views and subscribers lately, and I'm super happy for you! I can't believe you're still replying to people in the comments. That's so rad. (I got hooked back with your "make a _typeOf_ song in an hour videos). This entire album is awesome btw.
The Reface CS low battery light adds some suspense to this one.
I didn’t even notice that! 😄
🔥
Would love to know more about the sound library, sound fonts, or tools you used because this was a nostalgic blast!
I mainly used Plogue Chipsounds for this one. Some Retrologue and PAPU (free plugin) as well.
❤
Idk how you can play in this position.. awesome track!
Thank you!! 🙏
Dude!! That CS solo with the pinky playing!!
And there’s something about that lead melody which REALLY reminds me of Link’s Awakening, maybe a couple others.
Super schweet.
Not to mention, how many takes did this take? :D
Thanks Kaitlyn! Even though this isn’t a live recording, it still took a bunch of takes to hit the right keys without seeing anything haha :)
@@GLASYS heh yeah, the dynamics don’t need to be exactly right, but you still had to get pretty close!
First! That apart fantastic piece!
Question ... after so much Midi Art .. do you 'see' the shapes of music in your head when youre playing, like now? do you already know what it would look like?
Honestly I don’t think about that outside of making midi art. Though for most melodic patterns, it would be pretty easy to imagine the shapes :)
good video bo burnham
You good bro?
Ya know, life :)
@@GLASYS got it
I hate to see you like this, friend. Cheer up, ok?
I’m doing well! It’s just the vibe of the song. Hope you’re good too :)
I get it, it's "Repression" (holding something back) but without the "i". So you hold nothing back, except the "eye" (playing blind). I see what you did there (even if you don't). 😁👍
You got the name part right, not sure about the rest but I like your interpretation! 😄
third :(
