I never shipped Hinata and Misaki all that much, and not just because Usui, I just felt the were more of a brotp. So I never really cared for Hinata that much to be truthful, but I finally understood him after this episode. I understood the pain he went through after searching for his first love and finding that he was to late. How he realized he didn't stand a chance against Usui but he kept trying because of how much he loved Misaki. The way he barked broke my heart. It didn't sway me to want them to be together, but the pain he must have went through made me cry.

Usui was just scaring off everyone, but eventually in High School someone else would have shown up... Hinata is to passive and not dominant enough for an Alpha lone wolf like Misaki!!! It makes sense the two alphas deserved each other...
My interpretation for the barking is Hinata realized that he may be losing as he clearly saw Misaki’s reaction towards Usui and knew that deep down Misaki likes Usui. Usui then saw the depressed Hinata and proceed to bark as he recognized Hinata as the rival, the one that worth to fight for Misaki’s love and not as someone that he won over so that is why Hinata cried after that as he touched that Usui sees him as the same level as him to fight for Misaki 🥰😊 hehe just my opinion cause i think this fits more based on the background music right after Usui’s bark
The thing is, when he cried I couldn't handle it. I was in a situation just like this so I know how extremely painful it is. what hurt me most is he had his hopes up even after seeing hints and stuff he kept at it hoping for the best just like me. He was so optimistic that when it came to this watching him break and cry, I couldn't help but do the same and the pain he's dealing with is too much for me honestly I stopped the anime after this episode, I couldn't watch Usui and Misaki the same after this. It was a good anime, too bad I couldn't finish it! Anyway I love Hinata and if I could become an anime character and cheer him on and be there for him and give him all the love he deserves I would.

I'm angry that the manga didn't last longer and show us more of Misaki's father/sister because she didn't seem to ever forgive her father, and that seems wrong to me... So, Misaki's mother and sister just suffered without their father, because Misaki was being selfish and wouldn't forgive her dad? What is up with that? It shouldn't have ended the way it did, Usui Takumi should have helped Misaki forgive her father and re-unite her family as he was going after his own family back story arc, because she never seemed to forgive her own father...
ahh, I remember being so torn when watching this. I didnt know who to root for or who I wanted to be with mikasi more. I mean, Hinata really loved mikasi since his childhood, but you get really attached to usui x mikasa throughout the series! one of them was gonna get hurt one way or the other :(
as far as i saw (and read in the manga) Hinata gets really close to Misakis little sister, and i think they end up together! :) besides usui and Hinata are shown to handle the whole thing really well and actually ending up being friends C:
Was obvious, Hinata shows up at Episode 21, when we spent the past 20 bonding with Usui, there was never anyway he was meant to be with Misaki, and even Igorashi Tora, didn't get to do hardly anything with Misaki... They needed more love triangle here and a longer manga...

How would you feel when your "girl-friend" has a new love interest, even though you hadn't yet consciously realized and asked her out, yet, obviously like her because you're just in denial, but always there for her? Actions speak louder than words, he just couldn't say it verbally...

You completely missed out on the point that Misaki's sister is a great chef, and she can make anything for Hinata, which he'd love to eat... She is also nicer and not pushy like her sister, so Hinata won the better deal actually...

Despite what you feel about Twilight, the storylines are super similar. There's a cute guy that has turned down every girl despite being popular (Usui/Edward). Then he meets a more or less ordinary girl (Misaki/Bella). The girl's a trouble magnet and the guy is constantly following her around and saving her from all kinds of situations. Then there's the old childhood friend that also loves the girl (Hinata/Jacob). In the end, the childhood friend loses the love triangle and the girl ends up with the other guy :P
Too all the people who thin Hinata should have kept fighting if he truly loved her. At a point if you know that you don't have a chance its only hurting yourself to continue to try for someone who doesn't want you. Also this scene made me cry he was heartbroken cause he realized he truly doesn't have a chance.
