But I agree with you, I like the harmony and blending of Mark, Bill, Guy and David better. Probably also because of better music technology. The one with Michael and Jim was recorded 1989-90 whereas the one with Guy and David was 10 yrs later, 1999.
But if you listen to both videos in the link I sent, I think Michael did the solo part in their video better than David did in the later video. The blending just transitioned better to the solo parts with Michael.
