Their dynamic is what drew me to the show and it pains me that we see less and less of it with each passing season because of additional characters. Anyway, this was amazing, I love it!
lightsallfading I was thinking the same. They could just convert that money to bettering the serie or better still increase on chin and kono's salary so that they return to the show other than bringing in so many new people
I heard that Peter lenkov wasn't thrilled with Scott so he wrote less and less over the years and made the excuse that he didn't know when Scott was going to be available which is bull.
The crap with Grace and Daniel its perfectly fine that they asked for a raise but the studio has the right to grant or deny that raise. To play victim esp when they weren't doing the same work load as the lead and in a show that was very diverse in casting and hiring and they were the only two that complained. Plus I heard they wanted Alex and Scott to go on strike with them which would’ve cost the crew who are Polynesian etc to go without pay simply bc they weren't getting paid what they wanted. Put this in perspective they both would’ve been earning way more than most would earn in a lifetime.
It was their choice to leave and no I don't believe in how they went about it.
To many people play victim these days for all the wrong reasons. I wish them all the best
