Honestly, even though we lost the 06 Rose Bowl, it didn't feel like a losing year. That year was intense and amazing. I'm waiting for the day we go back to the glory we deserve as SC.

Arthur555: I remember USC back in it’s glory days. What a team! Heck I’m an LSU fan and I like USC. I do hope USC goes back to it’s glory days.

Alabama fan attended USC in middle sixties living in L.A. forever. Root hard for both teams.
Back when the PAC-12/10 was fun to watch.
Thanks for this!
You're welcome.
My grandpa Claude Millard was in the trojans 1970s
Great video capsulizing the glory days of Trojan Football.
USC really lost its lustre recently.
What a great legacy though!

I saw Pat Haden and JK McKay fling it around for Bishop Amat against Mater Dei in 1970 in a game at Mt. SAC. As an 8 year old, it was electrifying to see them work together.
Imagine if Knute had left Notre Dame in 1926 for USC. Howard Jones goes to Notre Dame. Knute doesn’t get killed in that plane crash, and they both win national championships well into the early 1940s.
We will back soon!
They are back

Wow. This is a DATED production! If USC learns anything from this, it is something that is completely attainable in Southern California: Hire the best coach. Stop playing around with interim coaches, assistant coaches elevated. Each and every time USC needs a new head coach, the best in the nation should be hired, and the recruiting should mainly come from California and points west (Hawaii, Samoa, etc.).
FIGHT ON! ✌️
8:02 they spotted the ball were you went down. they didn't have hash marks. the ball is put in play next to the side marker line.
thanks , i reallly like these "documentary's" , I hope you can post more up ""Ducks"" :) !!!
Wazee Digital has me cornered. I can't post any 2018 Pac 12 games until at least August and I'm not sure I can post anything of recent vintage without losing the channel. I'm being careful for now.
Fight On!
A part 2 would be awesome
We have to win a natty 1st
Welcome Lincoln Riley 🗡✌🏽
That was very selfish for John McKay to announce that he was leaving in his last year 6 games into the season.
Yup. No reason to handle it that way. Always wondered what McKay was thinking.
Of course, he later regretted leaving. I think him leaving kinda started USC on this boom or bust cycle.
SC might have their years of lows and may look like they suck, but don't act like we don't have a rich winning history ✌️🏈 Fight on!

Bryce T Sawyer Lame coaches: Larry Smith, Ted Tollner and Paul Hackett. Now it’s Clay Helton.
@@dt81819 of course.. Still I wanted to see some Marcus Allen, Rodney Peete, an Junior Seau highlights.. Sucks they skipped that whole time.
Uh... USC was NOT playing for its 'third straight national championship' despite the nonstop yammering to that effect. At that time the accepted national champion as supported by the NCAA was the BCS Title Game. In 2004, following the 2003 season, that game was played between LSU and Oklahoma, with LSU winning 21-14. The 'national championship' for that season that is claimed by Southern Cal (I know they hate being called that) was nothing more than the opinion of the AP poll. No amount of repeating that claim ad nauseum will change that simple fact. But we here in flyover country understand. Each year Southern Cal need only to have players with a pulse and respiration to be declared a 'team for the ages', at least until the actual games are played....🤣🤣🤣
Is there another college football team that can document 80yrs of football supremacy? Big 10, PAC 12. SEC-, ACC, SWC, Big 12...? You say yes. Let's see it. RRS SC 68 PV.Az
Or check out the University of Miami! Dominated the 80's and 90's
This is hilarious why did you cut it off at 2005 thats to funny but let me anwser that for you because after 2005 it turned into the armpit of cfb last 5 years not even a bowl game and now your laying all your money on muleshoe which is exactly why usc is where they are
Ah, the innocence! But behind the scenes, Sneaky Pete had a dark secret.
Cheating punks! Boomer!
