Been living here in Britain for 21 years now, I can testify that supporting family back home + cost of living and the pressure of consumerism can cause you to overwork without giving yourself a break, this has detrimental effect on your physical and mental health.

I work as a Agency Support Worker earning £2000 per week which works out at about £7K-8K per month depending on how many hours I have worked. My advise to you all is always try and join Agencies. You can still keep your permanent job for purposes of your visa requirements but try and register with one Agency as your side hustle for days you are off. You will thank me later!

In London, you cannot get a single room for the price you paid for your two bed apartment, I'm so shocked. Although your salary is good you would struggle to save well if you were in London.
