Some of the things you tell us, I promise not a lot of people would tell even their closest friends! We appreciate you
You’re amazing ❤❤❤
God bless you
Been living here in Britain for 21 years now, I can testify that supporting family back home + cost of living and the pressure of consumerism can cause you to overwork without giving yourself a break, this has detrimental effect on your physical and mental health.
This is full of lessons yet funny. Thank you Nanelle 😊. Such is bound to happen if there's no pre-information as you just dished out.
Love your transparency; I am sure it will help someone. You did well to even save that amount. Great job on the video 👍🏾

Thank you Sis for sharing this awesome experience...but it's really funny 😂 and I learn a lot seriously... thanks a bunch!
Thanks sis for sharing this superb! I’m financially free and currently growing a solid retirement plan. It takes a positive and consistency to learn new things, unlearn the old habits ms Important to get a mentor/coach to lead you all the way. It’s great to start young too!
Hello I'm 43 working on my retirement fund too. What do you think is the best target for retirement?
A lot of people find having a couch / financial advisor a luxury
@@keishalewelling849 yeah. Fees and commissions are factors to look at in search for financial advisers. There’s financial experts out there who do not look at their fees but the impact and intrinsic value they bring along to you no matter how little you want to start. I’m glad I had one guide me start my financial journey
@@marcosalvatore673 personally I think 1m is the goal to overcome inflation and having them in an inv estment portfolio is a perfect plan. I’m half way to my goal :)
I'm trying to read books about finance, budgeting and saving. Looking at having a good financial advisor. Can you recommend?
Great content ..I enjoyed every bit
God bless you for keeping your promise to him and your parents too
Amen 🙏🏽
Nurses who are brought here on Nurse visas are getting ripped off big time! I work as a Agency Support Worker earning £2000 per week which works out at about £7K-8K per month depending on how many hours I have worked. My advise to you all is always try and join Agencies. You can still keep your permanent job for purposes of your visa requirements but try and register with one Agency as your side hustle for days you are off. You will thank me later!
Can i interview you on my channel please 🙏🏽
Wow
@@NanelleGriselda these figures she said can only be reached when you are working back to back. NOT NORMAL LEGAL HOURS PER WEEK CAN GIVE THIS MUCH.
Definitely, you are not paying your tax correctly...limited company
Thanks sis much appreciated.

Love you too. Thanks dear
To me you did a good thing spoiling yourself in your first year and you even managed to save £7000 . Some are working 24/7 no time to enjoy and spoil themselves.
Thank you
It is Wonderful you took out time to have fun cos most African in the UK don't go for vacations instead work work.
Girl it is so sweet the way you were explaining.. you damm work hard ..it is your money 🤣🤣🤣😍
That’s was a nice shout out 🤸🏻♀️ thank you ❤ are this second episode would be loud oo I cannot wait ❤I hope I’m not working on that day that’s why I love the per hour work the salary can confuse your enemies 😂US is calling our name that’s why your saying dollars 😂aha Nanelle you have loads of fun behind the camera oooo that’s amazing I love that ❤ your explanation ehe 😂 it’s your money joor, you saved 7000 that’s amazing joor.. you did well, weldone ❤
😂😂my favorite video by far, I laughed so hard at you trying to explain yourself to us. In the end I thought 7000 wasn’t that bad, I thought you’d say 1000 pounds.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 eeeeiiiiiii thanks dear
Me too. With how she was explaining her self, I thought she was going to mention something less than a 1000.
I was even thinking 500 pounds😀..nice content
Lovely video. I think you did well for the savings you had your first year in the UK. You forgot to mention that you also paid bills including rent when you got your apartment.
Babygirl , Tanks for be real as always, cos i could tell u are being so real, cos with dis ur job if u tell one lie , u would have to explain urself everytime..... we really appreciate this
Thanks dear
I Love your honesty.
Nice video. You spilled alot though. Thank you
I don’t see anything wrong with all you did,I don’t see them as mistakes ,it’s normal to me,you’re literally fresh to a new place and you’ll definitely want to explore.
The only reason I’ll see this as a mistake is that if someone doesn’t call him or herself to order at a particular stage
Very very interesting video.kip up d good work dear.u even tried u were still able to save a lot .
Well done Nanelle always looking forward to watch your video.. keep been amazing
Thank you Rahmat ❤️
Ok... tnks my darling nanelle....
But frankly speaking, you did well. Upon buying a car, and all the fun you still saved something. Sometimes you guys made it look like it's hard to survive in the UK and at other times you made it look like it's all cozy out there. All the same 👍👍👍.
True
Thank you for sharing.. that's how we should pull each other , we Africans up instead of down. Kudos to you. Love you Sis

I really appreciate you for this frankly speaking video. It's an eye opener. I need to do my shopping in Naija before coming over. It's good to enjoy and have fun.

Wow thanks for this video
You are a God sent Nanelle
Thank you for sharing @Nanelle Griselda
I also came in with cloths suitable for winter and I have been wearing them for about 3 weeks since my arrival.
I arrived last month.
Although I need to shop for more but everything I came in with from Nigeria is useful.
I was deliberate with my shopping.
Not sure if one can save up to that amount in the NHS (Band 5 Biomedical Scientist ) , asides that rent here in Essex is way more than it is in NI.
I must say you did well.
Hi. What did you buy? If you don't mind just drop a mini list. Thank you

Hi olayinka I'd love to know the route for lab scientists I guess that's what you are called back home I'd love it for my younger brother who's a scientist (heamatology)
@@oyeyemisoji-onadiji
You are right, we are called Medical laboratory scientist in Nigeria.
I have couple of videos on my channel that can guide him.
He can ask questions for further clarification.
Your savings with the expenses you mentioned was not really bad!
This is so interesting and from another perspective! Don't beat yourself up over your savings. I can't believe how cheap it is where you are. In London, you cannot get a single room for the price you paid for your two bed apartment, I'm so shocked. Although your salary is good you would struggle to save well if you were in London. You can save even more if you get things from places like facebook marketplace. I have saved many thousands over the years that way.
Just love you dear, hope to see you when I come to UK.
Awwwww❤️
You saved a lot some people don’t even save nothing 😊
