I would highly recommend getting a resin printer, I have one for about 2 years and I print 1/6 scale firearms, custom headsculpts or accessories. Totally worth it.
That's the route I'd like to take! It all just seems so complex that it feels like a lot to take on haha.
@@filmaholic17 I would say at the beginning of the process is overwelming, but once you get a hang of it. I learned most of my 3D resin printing knowlege watching @UncleJessy on youtube.
@@haihuynh_customtoys Thanks for the information! It's definitely something I'm going to get into so any help is truly appreciated.
Always amazed at the different bodies out there, even if they are considered old by your standards. The accessories like the different shoes and hands are so cool to me! I look online for newer bodies and I am flabbergasted on the price of them. I will have to bide my time when I might be able to acquire them, of course it would mean I have to quit purchasing stuff for my old Joe bodies...LOL Awesome work Sir!! Always look foreword to seeing a new video from you!!
Thank you as always! A part of me wishes I could stick to one thing but bouncing around has its benefits haha. I was fortunate in that I got into these right before they became higher in price so I stocked up on parts from lots I got on eBay. I seldomly find them these days but they are out there.
It's more worth it to buy full figure in my opinion as they come with more parts and is more complete, and then you can move on from there to further kitbash it.
Right and that's fair but for someone who often works from the head down it's easier to piece things together as I go along. I've found that when I've bought boxed figures I rarely keep the bodies they come with and want to change the things it comes with.
How is the look of your ghost kitbash at 3:08 now? I like the plate carrier setup with chest holster, because it's pretty accurate from MWII 2022 scene when Graves betrayed them.
Unfortunately that one is still a head and chest rig at the moment. I got sidetracked with other projects and I need to get more bodies at some point. As for the look that was the one I was going for but running out of parts kinda stopped that project for the time being.
Wish I had your video skills brother. Do you use Cinematic filter or just photo?
Thank you and I always find it interesting that you all think it's cinematic but to me it's not that great 😅
It's all in camera with a shallow depth of field as well as being 60 fps so that gives it a cinematic look. I use a Sony a7II which by todays standards is out of date but works well for me. It's a great workhorse for both filming and still photography, but it doesn't film in 4k and eats batteries pretty fast haha. The later series have more bells and whistles but are also at a higher price tag.
Great customs and photography as usual, enjoyable watch🙂
Thank you I truly appreciate it! 🙌😊
