I've lived here most my life and I loved it! The food is amazing and I loved going to the beach and town green on the weekends. This city always will have a special place in my heart

It’s kind of like my older brother in Florida said to me once, “yea we might have 5 days of bad weather a year but we do have 360 beautiful days a year too!” 🌞😎

I have lived here for 6 yrs and love it. I also have lived in Florida, Atlanta and all over Texas. This is a different life. You can slow down here and enjoy ur retirement. The people are incredibly nice and welcoming. Keep in mind this area was decimated by Katrina in 2005. I live very close to the beach, but it’s worth the risk to me. We have a good time with Mardi Gras parades and lots of other events. Come join us. ❤️

Mississippi was surprising to us. We had always heard about poverty and education but not about retirement there. I’m sure there are some towns that we would not love but Long Beach was a definite Love!
