What? when men fail to stick around?... its women that are divorcing kicking men out of the home. Wake up women, family courts, big government is what killed the family. Getting married in the west is insane at this point you have zero rights as a man. Work save invest retire late 30s early 40s and move to a 2nd world nation that does not have anti man laws start a family there.

@Self Discipline: No doubt there are plenty of men who are screwed in this society, particularly in Leftist-run family court. But where are you sourcing your information when you say that "most men are forced out"? It's hard to imagine anyone could say that with a straight face when there are obviously just as many men, if not more, who don't stick around long enough to even find out they're fathers, or bail shortly afterward. They just leave their offspring dependent on taxpayers and no doubt continue to spread their seed. And divorce statistics only tell the tiniest fraction of the full story, because a.) too many people never get married in the first place, so a massive swathe of society is missing from those statistics; and b.) thanks to no fault divorce, they don't accurately portray what prompted divorce in the first place.
The fact of the matter is, in today's hedonistic, post sexual revolution culture, there's no shortage of irresponsibility and despicable character among either men or women. And this "my group is always the angelic victim and never at fault for absolutely anything" narrative doesn't sound any better coming from men than it does from women.

Our whole generation grew up on a pack of lies. Many of us are stuck in failure to launch mode due to student debt, and general fear of risk. As a woman I feel left behind because I was sold a bill of goods at such a young age that cast a dark shadow over my future. I was sold a career that wears me out from the inside out, where I have three sets of bosses; administration, parents, and now kids. It is a career that will never provide a substantial living or a hope of paying off the debt I took on to do it. I feel locked in my circumstances. Many young men look at marriage in a Mercenary way. They do not want someone with debt and I don't blame them, I don't desire to force my debt on anyone. But I wish I would have known at a younger age that choosing college would limit my options of staying home with my babies or limit me from being chosen . Here I sit on the shelf thanks to the feminist lies my generation was told and had foisted on them. We did not give up our freedoms, they were given up a long time ago by individuals who should have known better.

Eventually one day I came to the realizations you did. I stepped up cut the negative people out and put matters into my own hands focusing on what I needed to get done. It's important that we address all sides of expression. It takes all kinds to make a world. Males and females should define themselves, just as it is inappropriate to use incorrect pronouns, this video was created to address the growing trend of shaming expressions of gender that are more traditional, which is equally wrong as misidentification of pronouns.
However, this video also holds the crime of dictating, just as the left do, in trying to force a gender narrative that all men should act a specific way. I advise going out into the world and meeting as many people as possible so that we can all learn about each other. It doesn't need to be planned, you don't need to go out of your way, just opening the door and observing the world of people ever day.

Living at home as a young adult was done for thousands of years to work at the homestead and to help pay the bills and share burdens. If someone is living at home for free, not providing for the whole family, not thinking of what they are giving to their parents in exchange for the roof over their head, then there is a problem. Otherwise, there are ways and reasons a young adult could be staying at home that are good. I do not like to see that measurement alone being used to judge someone when sometimes it is a sacrifice for a young person to stay at home taking care of parents out of love.

The moment I act like how I feel a man should I feel like I face consequences. And I'm not talking about being a dick, simply standing up for myself and what I believe in. As someone who wanted to take their life after being told by a religious school to man up and not feeling safe to open up (even today still having trouble opening up to people), this video is abysmal. Suicide rates are going up for both genders, not only men. The world has changed so much recently, leading to so many possible contributors, and for you to blame the higher rates on something that ignores the increase in women's suicide rates is unbelievably biased. It's much more likely that being told to be masculine and not be weak is linked directly to men not feeling like they have anywhere to turn to and kill themselves. (The last bit of the video was good though)

    • @AleadaA
      @AleadaA Před 4 lety +2

Athletic departments used to call boys - girls to shame them - this caused many young men to hate women! Teaching children to be responsible and that they must take charge of their lives and giving them the structure to do so will reduce suicide rates. Teaching people that they must not give into victim-hood but must be their own person and take responsibility for their lives will also help. Better schools which stimulate the mind - more outdoor exercise and job opportunities help with optimism and less drug addiction - and less suicide. Times have always been really hard so study history in depth and learn about this fact.

They are over effeminating themselves because they are told their natural masculine instincts are an abomination. Everywhere you turn progressives are trying to brow-beat men out of their natural instincts just like Christians used to do with homosexuals. Freethenipple tells men their love of breasts is perverted and unnatural and needs to be beaten out of them. A man's vulnerability to visual stimulation is rebranded as "objectification". The term "pedophilia" has been rebranded from attraction to prepubescent children to men's natural attraction to youth.

How could something such as our bodies that are so in order and unison with each other be created from evolution or from the big bang? Jesus said in one of the gospels after the Pharisees said show us a sign. " you seek after a sign but if you dont believe my words than you will never believe no matter the proof." I parphrased a bit. Can you find remains of Jesus? Can you? That should make you wonder. What if your right I am wrong? I have nothing to lose. But I know I am right and your wrong you stand to lose everything. Death is no respector of persons and if you died tonight where would you be? Hell. But if you believe and repent from your sins you will be saved and you will have eternal life in heaven. What do you choose? Eternal life? Well you'll get that but where will you spend it? Hell or heaven? That's your choice.

@@kaitlinarnett5755 So, no evidence your beliefs are true. Evolution has been proven with DNA and fossil evidence. Maybe we can't find the remains of Jesus for the same reason we can't find the remains of Sherlock Holmes, he was made up. If Jesus rose from the dead, why isn't he walking around today? Why isn't he on Twitter?
Again, I ask what evidence you have Hell exists? None. And Pascals' Wager. Come on. What if God only lets atheists into Heaven?

I love and support men. I am happily married to a wonderful man who is a fabulous husband and a great father. We have raised 2 boys as been married 24 years. I know more nice ethical men than I do women. I have a fabulous Dad. My parents have been married over 50 years. My family is active in church and are good men. The boys aren’t currently dating. They are 21 and 23. The 21 year old just got out of a 3 year relationship. I’m very grateful for the wonderful men in my life. Men are awesome.

terrible deed I taught college for 10 years then I got sick. (MS etc) I’ve been managing an antique store where I can sit more frequently with better hours. I also provided home care and hospice care for my grandmother for three years after I taught college while working the store. So yes, I work. I used to do more but I’m still active. We have raised 2 biological kiddos and fostered 7 non bio kids. Even if I stayed home and didn’t work at a paying job, it would still have been work. Soooo... my work resume from 2001-now. Does that answer? High powered career? Nope. Masters degree ✔️. Work experience ✔️Family raised ✔️ According to many, it’s not successful because I’m not rolling in money. I’m ok with it. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔😊

terrible deed dude. Only thing I can say. If I say I stay at home, then I’m a women who is too old fashioned and putting women behind and not doing enough. I tell you my history encapsulated for the last 20 years even though I’ve been sick as a dog, and it’s virtue signaling if I say what I have done. There is no chance of me winning with a person who is determined to judge one way or the other. Sigh. My turn to smack my head. Bless your heart. Hope you have a nice life.

I agree with everything except the video game thing. I’m a married man, we don’t live near either of our parents, I have a job, I’m graduating from school soon, and I play video games all the time. It’s the industry I hope to join, and I had an internship working on game writing. Don’t lump games into the reasons for other people’s failures.

I am a young man that is trying his best to be a man of good character. I wear my values on my sleeve and I keep my goals in front of me. I try to be a good leader when I am required to and point others towards Jesus and the values he taught. But what you wouldn’t expect is I look like those boys you described at the beginning. I have earrings and I do my hair “pretty” every day. I believe strongly in empowering women and bringing equality between the sexes. Part of being a man is showing compassion, mercy, and love. All things the men at Prager U seem to have a hard time doing in their videos as they preach their conservative message. They don’t know what it means to be a man any more than the left does. If they were real men they would be welcoming immigrants and refugees into America with open arms because the Bible literally says “welcome the foreigner”. If they were real men, they would be promoting restrictions on guns so that this country would be more safe and guns wouldn’t be in the hands of crazy people. If they were real men they wouldn’t tell women what they can and can’t do with their body and try to control them like they have for thousands of years. Prager U it is time to MAN UP. If you want to be real men then I invite you to learn about love. If you are a Christian then there is no reason for you not to. In fact, you’re commanded to. If Christians genuinely read the Bible and applied Jesus’ teachings they would all be liberal. Sadly, Fox News has done a better job discipling Christians than the church has.

So playing video games, partying, and heavy drinking is the left’s fault? I thought the right stood for taking responsibility for your own actions. Sounds to me like blaming others for your own shortcomings.

He never said those activities were the lefts fault. He said men do these things basically because the left brainwashed them into believing they were just useless and had no purpose in life and as a result, partake in these particular activities.

@@VinceAdams-qy4re Still ridiculous. How does the left brainwash people into thinking they are useless? I think economic realities that exist despite politics have made people feel less of a sense of purpose. China is a good example-their politics are leftist politics, but people in China feel a sense of purpose. Why? Well, that’s where all the money is now.

I'm glad to see these sorted of conversations going on. We really need to steer our sons in the right direction in truth and love. The bible says train up a child! Our greatest parental responsibility! Yes happiness over enjoyment, but I say The Joy in the Lord is better than happiness or enjoyment, because regardless of circumstance or happenstance the Joy in knowing Jesus surpasses all!
