UPDATES
2023 - Unfortunately, the Puente Colgante Guzman is no longer open to the public.
Is it still closed? Do you have contact number?
My mom was born in el barrio Vegas Abajo we still have a finca there ( finca - coffee plantation) for 32 years I live in los Angeles California but when I go to Puerto Rico y visit Adjuntas and Utuado where I was born all do I was raised on Ponce I embrace my Taino and jibaro culture, I love being borikua
Daka Taino jibaro a boriken, seneko kakona, jan jan katu tiao.
Hey Roberto! That’s amazing! I bet its wonderful to go from a busy city like LA to Adjuntas and Utuado, the complete oposite. Out Taino and jibaro culture needs more attention, so that’s great that you feel connected to it!
Thank you for this video and the compact precise info about the town. The colorful bridge doesn't exist anymore.
Hey Lourdes!! Thank you for taking time to leave a comment! Glad to see you enjoyed the video! Someone else also mentioned the situation with the bridge. It’s a shame. That place was/is definitely special. 💜💚🇵🇷
so beautiful! We are very proud to welcome you to our beautiful Adjuntas.
Thank you! That means a lot to me! ¡Definitivamente tengo que volver pronto! 🙌🏼💜💚😄
Thank You Very Much. This is the Video I was NOT Looking For..!! and
IT IS GRRRREAT!!. My Granddaughter is gonna be So Happy in Fla. When She visits me on her yearly Vac. to PR..Gods permits we are going to Adjuntas.
Thanks again. Well made professional video.
Hey Rafael! I love comments like these!! Thank you for watching and for the feedback! Adjuntas is breathtaking! I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time. 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
I have so many things to be proud of, being Puerto Rican and part of the Latino community, being an American a human being and watching your videos, and let's never forget that it's ok to be proud of more then one thing in life...Gracia's...GERALD SALGADO...Baltimore md
Hola Gerald! Thank you for leaving such a heartfelt comment! It is definitely a blessing to be puertorrican and there are so many things to be proud of, many things we are never told about our own history in schools. I’m glad my video helped you reconnect with that part of your identity. 😊🙏🏼🇵🇷
Born in Puerto Rico. I was raised in the island until I was 12. Left the island in 1998. I cannot wait to take my husband to the island. He is a Southern white country man from the USA who LOVES Puerto Rican food
Love the story! I mean, let’s be honest, what’s not to love about PR food 😂😅 I’m sure he’ll be in heaven when he finally visits! 😂🙌🏼
@@BriksTravelGuides he definitely will be in cloud nine when I finally take him to the island. We would love to do all those hikes but he has flat feet and was born with half the normal amount of sweat glands so I dont know if such excursions would be right for him. I for sure would love to take him anywhere besides San Juan, especially to the pork highway in Guavate.
Guavate would be great if he loves food! Hopefully it’s not so busy when you go. If you find that it’s too busy, you can come back down to the pork place near the exit of the highway called Lechonera El Mojito. Their food is great!
Don't wait too long.
Great job Brik!! Love your video...our visit will be fantastic thanks to you! Mike from Denver!
Hey Mike! Wow! Thank you so much for your comment! I really do you have/had a fantastic time in Puerto Rico! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
ADJUNTAS my hometown thank you to share the video with the world 🌎.
Beautiful places in ADJUNTAS to see.muy bonitos lugares saludos desde Brooklyn para el mundo.
Hola Luis! It was such a pleasure to visit Adjuntas! And I’m ecstatic that so many people from Adjuntas have messaged me saying how they love this video. I really wanted to convey how much we loved visiting and how incredible Adjuntas is, and I think I managed to do just that. 💜💚
Great video and very informative!! Beautiful I have been to adjuntas many times but you showed me a few things I never did . Camping would be hard since I would be traveling with my family from the states . Food looks amazing !!
Hey Patricia!! Glad to see you frequent Adjuntas! It’s definitely a special place in Puerto Rico. Hope you get to visit all the places you discovered with my video, and even more! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
There is such much more to see and enjoy in Adjuntas. A very rich history from back then with Spain, and today. Love the homegrown coffee and jugo de parcha. That's really good. You need a second video, there is much more to see!.. Thumbs up.
For sure we need to go back to make a second video! I agree, there’s so many amazing things we didn’t see and we also want to spend more time at places we visited. Let’s see when we get to go back!
Great tips. Adjuntas is great
Hey William!! Thank you so much! We are in love with Adjuntas!

I remember being at that blue house me recuerdo estando en esa casa pero no sé cómo ni por qué pero me recuerdo estando en esa casa y se que era familia somehow visite esa casa I haven't been to Adjuntas since I was 8 but it's not true there's big spiders in PR which is natural and helpful to the environment I remember but when I went it wasn't as developed as it is now I was like 8 and it was purp Campo lol 😂 I'm 45 years old lol 😂
Haha that’s amazing that my video helped you remember and took you back to a place and time of your childhood in Adjuntas! Not sure if the spider you’re referring to is the Guavá (it’s actually related to scorpions, but it looks like a spider) haha Hope you get to revisit Puerto Rico and Adjuntas soon!! 😄🙏🏼🇵🇷
I love your videos and the detailed description. Watching your videos has helped me explore my roots ❤️
Hey!! Wow! I’m thrilled that I’ve helped you get in touch with your Puerto Rican roots! It is definitely a wonderful place with amazing people and natural beauty!
Can you make a video for Culebra next? Love the content and the drone shots are getting really good 🔥
Doing a video about Culebra and Vieques would be amazing! I’ll definitely get on it! Thank you so much!! I’m glad you like the shots! 😄🙌🏼🙏🏼🇵🇷

Need to go!! Gracias
Adjuntas esta brutal! Tienes que ir! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
My dad knows the guy that did all of that in puente colgante Guzman I remember in middle when I would visit my dad went to go see him and he let me ride one of his horses now I don’t know if him are my dad still friends or still talk but it is amazing how much he has grown the place
That’s amazing! Thank you for sharing that! The place is absolutely beautiful and I love how they still allow people to visit, take pictures and cross the bridge. Definitely a place I would visit again. ☺️🇵🇷
Nice video! Hopefully I can enjoy some of these spots in my trip to PR next week!
Yesss! You won’t regret it! 😍
Beautiful aerial shots. I like your Bonus Tips feature. Saludos from Nueva York.
Hola Roberto! Thank you! I try to include Bonus Tips as much as possible on my videos haha Also, my drone was one of the best investments I could have made for the channel haha 🚁💪🏼
Would love to see one from every municipality 😬 this was awesome!
Hey Raymond! Thanks so much!! That is the goal! Gonna take me a lot of time but I’ll definitely get to it! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
My 2 bday trip of the year to PR is coming up close and I appreciate your knowledge. PS. La Casa de Cascadas was amazing and I don’t show many utube videos on this place. Right up the road fro La casa is another beautiful Rio con una chiquita cascada but i forgot the ñame. Im a Cascada seeker. I have still many to explore. Soy Puertorriqueña y súper orgullosa de mi Isla. Don’t forget to inform people how scary the car rides are. Jijiji. Esas curvas con un caril is no joke.
Haha I hope you have a great birthday whenever you visit! I haven’t heard about that waterfall you mentioned so I’ll have to check it out! And yes! Those narrow mountain roads can get pretty scary! 😂 I’ve had my fair share of crazy moments on them. 😅😂
Planning a trip to PR December 2-9 My son's church wedding with family in San Juan then a few days somewhere else. Thank you for your post. I hope to see more, or hire you as a guide/planner.
Thank you so much for your comment Mary! I’m planning on officially certifying myself as a tour guide soon so I hope I’ll be able to guide you and your family when you arrive! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Maybe make some videos on the night life in small towns like the plaza publica adjuntas
I like this idea! Thank you! I’ll def keep it in mind whenever making future videos. Thank you for the comment! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
@@BriksTravelGuides I think most visitors want to know if there are any cute night places playing Salsa and other musica Latino.
So happy you posted this! My boyfriend and I are headed to PR on Saturday and we are staying at casa del campo en Adjuntas and we were wondering what it was like. Thank you!
Hey Rhanda!! Thank you so much for your comment! 😄🙏🏼 So pumped for you guys! Adjuntas is so amazing, beautiful and fun! You definitely wont regret it! Hope you have a great time! 🙌🏼🇵🇷
Guaraguao, legartijos, culebra many this to see in nature. To drink jugo the china y jugo de parcha.
Yes! Many beautiful animals! I’m beginning to like birdwatching. There are many beautiful birds in Puerto Rico, many of them endemic. Nothing beats an 100% natural jugo de china o parcha haha 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Love you videos... can you add or mention, or even dedicate a video of the Flags painted by Hector for the towns that you visit... these flag paintings has inspired me to visit other parts of the island with my family and friends (when i vacation there every summer )... saludos desde California...
Hey Debbie! That’s a great idea! I had written it down a while ago but I have to brainstorm how to fit that into a video. Thanks for your comment! Saludos desde Borinquen! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Hello Brik! Thank you for suggesting adjuntas, I would have never heard it if it wasn't because of this video.
I have a question I understand this is a two day itinerary, do you think its feasable to cut some activities out and only go to charco del mango, charco el ataud and the monte guilarte? We are staying in aguada and I saw the trip is 2 hours each way. Thank you so much for your amazing content!
Hey Rodrigo!! Apologies for the late response. For sure it would be feasible to just go to El Ataud, El Mango and Monte Guilarte on one day. You’ll have to wake up pretty early to do it, but you can! Hopefully you’ll be able to go! Adjuntas is beautiful! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Informative video . I must say Sleeping in a chilly environment at the tropics is a plus and also Beautiful .How much was the camp spot?.
Hey John! Thanks for your comment! Can you believe it’s gone down to 57 degrees Fahrenheit during Christmas! 😱🥶 But I love the cold! Wish it would stay at 70 year round. For me it was $30 per night per person. Check if the price is the same or changed. When I stayed there were only letting one group at a time because of COVID, so check that as well. We loved Cerro Magico! Let them know you called because of our video. 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
@@BriksTravelGuides Yeah 57 is cold for camping but great to sleep in . If I go I will let them know that I found out about this place from your video.
Definitely great to get a deep sleep haha Awesome! Hope you have a great time! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
No tienes algo de Humacao?? Vamos en mayo 13-
Hola Eva! Gracias por tu comentario! Por ahora no tengo contenido de Humacao pero tengo pendiente hacer un video del lado este de Puerto Rico pronto! Siento que no se le presta tanta atención como otras areas.
Municipios populares adoptan cierre de playas, balnearios, cayos e islotes is this true I am going to puerto rico next week please help? Thanks
Hey there! They did announce that, but that’s only happening in certain municipalities. Also, I’m not sure how hard they are enforcing this. There are many beaches that are still open for you to visit!
Where da jacket at tho?
I bought a new one. You’re gonna have to see the next video to see it!
Es lamentable que dejen deteriorar las cosas
The family and relatives got into a disagreement and the gentleman, Mr. Guzman had to tear down the bridge. It wasn't because it wasn't maintained.
Thanks for clarifying the details. Unfortunate situation nonetheless. Hopefully everything can get resolved.
