- Have you ever seen such a construction site? 🤯
Before winter, once the summer season is over, sand dunes are raised on the beach in front of each seaside resort, to prevent storm surges from damaging the structures or excessively reducing the size of the beach. Thus, before the start of the new summer season, there is a need for farms and contractors to level and level the beaches again. To perform this operation in the best possible way, levels are used, the same ones used in precision agriculture!
In this video we see a truly remarkable team (more than 1100 hp in total): Aia Ricci with the newcomer John Deere 8RX 410 and Fontana Maxi level, Team Fragorzi with a New Holland T8.410 SmartTrax and Fontana Rice level and a Case Magnum 335. All tractors are then equipped with a front shovel, used to quickly lower the dunes and facilitate the passage of the level (or as a 'shovel' to perfectly finish the edges near the pedestrian passages).
Ah yes, the levels are not used with laser or gps, all movements are done manually by the operators 💪

@@Bomokbrody246 yeah nah deer has nothing on the NH shifting. our NH T8040 gave me whiplash it shifts that damn hard you have to have a seat belt on even at slow speeds or it will throw you into the steering wheel.

Much like they some used on 'English Beaches', - only difference is they have a "chain conveyor' fitted as well, so they not only 'smooth' the sand they filter any rubbish out and collect it in a bin at the rear. They start in the spring and continue daily until the end of the 'holiday season', after bank holidays/weekends etc. I've seen them need a lorry to take away the amount of rubbish they have collected.
Even on our beaches, tools like that are starting to appear, they are very functional and unfortunately we also collect a lot, too much, garbage.

Non è il primo, se cerchi sulla riviera romagnola hanno fatto la livellatura qualche anno fa con i casa quad track😉 ma andavano pure in acqua, e si sono impantanati dentro😂

Are these fully controlled by the operators or are they lazer controlled for correct levels like some bulldozer blades for instance on the railway we just set everything to level and the blade goes up and down automatically with lazers.
These are full controlled by the operator, becouse of the multiple obstacles!

Question, why do the beaches need to be leveled?
Well yeah, so people can use them but what I mean is how do they get this way? Waves? Or maybe they where set like that to resist waves? The tide maybe?
In winter, as you can see in the first part of the video, dunes are raised, bringing back the beach, to protect the structures and prevent violent storms from causing damage! then these dunes must be leveled to make everything return to a single slope

È una moda😉 e i costi di manutenzione nn si avvicinano minimamente ai classici pneumatici, il cingolo è in ferro, nn questo in gomma, quello in ferro per tutte le lavorazioni del terreno è migliore dei pneumatici e della gomma classica, ha solo il problema del trasporto, ma come rendimento, efficenza e costo di manutenzione è molto più conveniente

Perché in spiaggia è pieno di ostacoli (paletti di confine, luci, passate pedonali) e sarebbe più il tempo perso a settare il sistema che a farlo! Poi va detto che non c'è bisogno di una precisione millimetrica, basta che sia in piano👍🏻

Ah yes, the levels are not used with laser or gps, all movements are done manually by the operators . Considering the scrapers have laser levels installed it is kind of stupid not to use them if the previous statement was correct.
They are not used because, besides the fact that it is not necessary to be precise to the centimeter given the context of the beach, there are many obstacles such as poles, concrete roads that divide the various pieces of the beach etc. also in the various sectors of the beach, each manager takes care of contacting the subcontractors, so they do not have all the pieces close or bordering at times

The tractors are prevently coated with specific anti-corrosion product
fun fact the tracks need the sand to lubricate when the 8RX is put on the road your supposed to stop every few miles and put some soil or talc powder on the inside of the tracks to stop them from wearing out to fast.
And we wonder why there is so much flooding on the coast lines… Mother Nature made that hill for a

The description of the video says that they make those dunes artifically for the winter months to prevent flooding and then they remove them in the summer so i would not say mother nature is envolved.
They want to avoid this in the winter seasons, but if you don't take that sand dune away, then how do people go to the beach? they couldn't! think!

@@robwar2288 unlike cars tractor frames are fully painted with some fairly thick paint even then the frames are made of thick steel it would take many years of use to even be a slight problem and with them costing around half a million each the owner is probably gonna give them a good wash after they have finished the job.

I know very well that it is better to use the sound of the tractors, but unfortunately (as in this case) instead of being two people filming I was alone. To maintain a video target for the channel, I preferred to concentrate on shooting with the drone and on photographs, then I didn't have time to film the sound of the vehicle exhaustively. This is why many times there are only shots from the drone, if we were always in pairs I would have much more time to concentrate on shooting from the ground.
