I don’t think salt on baby food especially when their so little is healthy or good at all for them. I don’t know why your Doctor would say it’s ok.
I don’t have kids yet but you’re teaching me so much. I love how she’s sticking to carrots for a week then switching it out
You have to give then one food for a week ..its to make sure they arent allergic to something. If you give 3-4 at the same time for the first time, you wont know which one is the one causing them issues/allergies :)

Maybe try mixing it with a little rice cereal? With my 4 kiddos I always started with rice cereal mixed with breast milk (or formula if that’s what your feeding). Also Bo mentioned that Zayden’s poop would start to smelling bad now that he was starting solids, but since he’s only eating veggies it shouldn’t. The worse your diet the worse your poop smells. People that are vegetarian, vegan (avoid meat, dairy, fatty foods) their poop doesn’t smell nearly at all!

Mashed potatoes work for me and i was told soup from home made beans also help my baby to b strong.. Wich it did baby girl was very healthy also like commenters said soupita is always good too.

Everyone is different, but my doctor recommended I carry my baby while feeding him. She doesn’t recommend a high chair until 6 months, not sure if that will help. I also started with rice cereal, on week 2 and my baby loves it so far.

Always start with veggies my suggest start boiling veggies such as carrots, also cereals with smushed fruit and also blending avocado is something I suggest eating first since it’s good on oils and helps them poop

That's a good idea not to add salt to your food you don't want your baby to get use to salt like with the fruits you can make like apple sauce then maybe mix like apples and bananas together or other fruits together but start off with one so you can check for allergies

Our babies were born on the same day!! 09/09/2021 🤗🤗 My husband’s birthday is also 09/09, so my son and him share a birthday 🎂🥳🎉🎈🎊. I am also starting solids! And we have the exact same high chair! 🤣 Crazy that our sons are literally going through the same stages 🤗 My son is also behind on half of his 4 month shots, he is going this Friday 😩

This was awesome, I'm a nanny & I remember giving my littles food. Currently, the 2 yr old lil girl does not eat sweets or anything related. She's been given all sugar free stuff & when we offer ice cream it cookies she'll say yummy but wont take it lol. It honestly sucks that sugar is in everything, hot sauce, even ketchup!! The company Primal Kitchen offers a variety of sugar free items. I'm into doing the Whole30 diet. Basically you eliminate all food that can potentially be an allergen. After 30 days you reintroduce foods lil by lil & see how your body reacts. I learned a lot about my body that I was actually ignoring & didnt even know. Also the best part is when you hit week 2 & your energy levels are through the roof, Withouttttt coffee!! On a different note... how the hell is Maria so snatched after all them babies??? To be honest, as someone who is educated about this stuff (midwife) I have to say that Maria does a lot wrong. He wasn’t even ready to eat (you can see the Reflex that automatically spitted everything out)
Salt is also a no go. Baby could suffer from kidney damage + doesn’t know the real taste of the vegetable.
I actually doubt that she is even talking to her doctor beforehand but that’s just an assumption.
But I have to say that she really has a lot energy for 4 kids + household and job but I would not recommend taking any child tips from her. Better asking your doctor or midwife/doula whatever ❤️

Maria knows what her child needs, he's 5 months kids do that at the beginning of trying food for the first time cause they don't know to swallow solid food yet, as she keeps trying eventually he will learned. Another thing she never put salt or sugar she tried it bland, if you would have watched the whole video you would've known that. I myself always had a bottle made before hand and would mix alittle bit of the formula with baby cereal and would try and try and if I thought that was enough I would then give him his bottle instead. Everyone's does their own thing as a mother myself I know she's doing the right thing for her kids. She does alot already for all her kids. ❤️
