Tesla Superchargers, Westfield, White City, London

- We needed a supercharge in central London, and had looked up the ones at Westfield in White City. There were reviews on Google Maps and ZapMap, that suggested they were impossible to find, or even that none of them were working.
Here is a short video of our attempt at finding them.
A camera fail, a kerbed wheel, and a visit to Television Centre.
Excellent help, thanks. My brother-in-law asked me to charge his Tesla from Chelsea whilst he is away and recommended the Westfield shopping mall. You can validate your time up to an hour at the Tesla store in the mall to save that £3.00 fee.
Do I have to pay for Westfield parking charge too ? Or just pay to charge your EV ?
What’s yours full spec of your Tesla? Any issues with Tesla? Which model / colour? Full driving ?
Standard range plus... paid for black paint, which is hopeless. Had a report done on it, apparently too soft, and multiple adhesion issues.
Tesla have rejected the report without even looking at the car.
So I'll be fighting it.
Standard autopilot for us.
@@TeslaModel3Adventures Thanks for the feedback. Quality of issues of the Tesla is putting me off. I’m considering BMW 4 or 5 series or maybe Audi A5 and of course Tesla Model 3.
@@gurugamer8632 It's a great car. We came from a BMW, and the Tesla is certainly lacking on the paint.
Elon Musk himself said there were paint issues as they rushed to meet demand during the time ours was built, but Tesla UK are just playing ignore & deflect.
Think you'd be ok with models coming out right now... but it's concerning that they're not doing the right thing with customers with real problems.

Not concentrating on my angle of approach I'm afraid Brian 😔 Someone suggested tidying it up with a light sanding with wet & dry paper. Will have a go at it next weekend.

I feel your pain, the rear track width is bigger than you think, ive caught mine a few times. I use wet and dry on the rim and hand brush touch up paint. I got the colour scanned and matched. The good news is i have yet to damage the plastic aero wheel cap.
@@dereknicol5284 Hi Derek, indeed the aero cover escaped undamaged 🙂 It was the last minute change of lane, so totally my fault.
I've yet to do anything with it to be honest.
We've issues with the paint on a grand scale. Had a specialist report done, and it's basically too soft, and multiple adhesion issues.
Lengthy report, cost over £210... sent to Tesla asking for them to work with us. They just dismissed the report, not even asking to see the car.
So we're having to take that further. Disappointing that despite Elon admitting issues with paint in the 3rd quarter out of Fremont, here UK CS just brush it off.
Will get around to doing a video once it's all sorted.
