Man, this brings back memories... I was like 6, maybe 7 when I got this game and this is as far as I ever got. Could not for the life of me get past this boss.
Lol I just today started playing through this game for the first time in years, not only was I not expecting to reach this guy soon as I went through the portal at the end of level 3, but my dumbass completely forgot about the items in the water. I totally could have used all I could get when I fought him, on account of multiple times I had to circle the arena just to stock up on ammo. I actually almost lost cause I was out of lives (from those shitty pillar jumps 10 mins earlier) I think I had like 3 rifle bullets to spare when I finally dropped him
