GBO2 RX-0 Banshee: Best Heavy Attack in the entire game?!

- Like my video on the Unicorn Gundam, I won't be going too deep on analysis here. We simply don't have all the hidden stats and modifiers available to do so. Instead here will be my first impressions and what I know about it so far.
Banshee is a 700 cost raid with absolutely bonkers melee damage. It has NT-D like the Unicorn but with lesser HP drain to account for no Awakened mode. It has 160% downswing modifier on its arm claw in both normal and NT-D mode along with 100/80/64% combo modifier on the beam saber. This alone lets you do insane melee damage in NT-D but what really pushes it over the edge is the heavy attack. This is only available in NT-D but has a MASSIVE 400% modifier and speedy 1.5 seconds charge time. Although it isn't shown in this video, you can actually combo into the heavy attack. By doing a downswing, immediately dodge rolling and swapping to claw then charging the heavy attack. Timing is tight but this should let you confirm it very easily to nuke even generals. You also gain priority 4 of all things during NT-D so Enhanced ZZ Gundam and Zaku IV won't even be able to clash with you. You can also combo the heavy attack into three beam saber swings and a claw downswing. This combo is even capable of killing raids and generals in one go.
Overall I really like Banshee so far and can't wait to practice it more. It feels a lot harder to use than the Unicorn and I haven't gotten any omega high damage games yet but I feel like its potential is the highest of all current 700 cost raids. As with Unicorn, I will try to upload some higher quality games with commentary later in the week. Until then, please make do with this video.

Banshee is a absolute monster. They did a good job designing the unicorn and banshee.

I’ve been using this suit and I’ve noticed that it can break legs easily. Most of the time you just need one dowsing with arm claw and one strike with the saber to the legs. I’ve been doing this a lot too sinanju players.
Makes sense. Leg HP is 60% of the MS HP if they have no leg armour. So since the banshee claw does about that amount on a heavy attack you are definitely gonna be busting legs.

I just got banshee myself and i think it's s harder to master than the unicorn. Still cant do the down swing to charge attack combo but i know it can do it (i've seen your video). Keep up the good work.

Just keep practicing and you will eventually be able to get it down consistently. It is kinda situational since you use a lot of thrust but damn the damage is worth it.

Well, R.I.P To those brave souls who dare sortie in a support from now on, not only generals can act as a raid in 700, but now that the banshee is here it would be really difficult to play as one.
Anyway i rolled all 7 steps for the unicorn and with the left over tokens i managed to pull the banshee, im kinda sad for my nu because it was my go to suit at 700, maybe later on i will use it again but i dont see myself using it in a long time
Unicorn and Banshee are both extremely strong with great staying power so congrats on the rolls.
Kshatriya is definitely gonna be a lot harder now.

Nu can still keep up relatively well considering its a year old suit. Which kinda puts into perspective how strong the MS was in its inception into the game.

@@avenger1_gbo260 yeah, currently I don't have any 4 star raids. The next 2 weeks really make me fear using any of the token 😂 Its undecided though the urge is great. Might just wait months like always to drop on RT shop. Still, keep up with the content man. Your knowledge and skills will be a great help for any level of players.

This suit has crazy damage potential but, because of all the unicorn roaming about it's almost impossible dealing 100k damage(at least for me). RIP support.

Even in base form Banshee can nuke a support. Makes me curious on how often we’ll see raids like EZZ or Zaku IV though.
EZZ still has a niche with its great midrange game and stun resistance but Banshee competes a lot more directly with Zaku IV for melee raid spot.

Ever since Phenex came out playing raid is such a chore because EVERYONE in 700 matches runs Phenex and it’s just not fun getting instantly destroyed
Got this banshee and did some dps test with maximum melee build, and my god banshee's heavy attack's total dps on its armed armor vn did 31.7k dmg on a support.
It is so nutty. Especially since you can combo into the heavy attack. It literally kills a support two times over.
I bid farewell to the supports. Cuz they gonna need a lot of melee resistance and hp as well...

@@avenger1_gbo260 thanks, uhhhh, how do you switch from the beam sword to the armed armor VN so fast?
@@zinogre_the_lord Basically you can do something called input buffering. This lets you swap weapons as fast as absolutely possible. Basically before the swing animation is done for saber, you swap to the claw and it will swap ASAP once you boost out.

@@zinogre_the_lord Use quick swap binds to instantly swap to the weapon you want rather than cycling through by tapping R1

How do you do the heavy attack?
You need to be in NT-D mode and then you can use the heavy attack with the claw melee. You basically charge it like a beam rifle.
Somebody needs to tell people about team comps. Love getting matchs with nothing but support or raid. Wtf literally.

Man all of this really makes me wish they were 750 cost there really is no good reason to play anything other than a unicorn suit
Can't wait for the fa unicorn or phenex to be forced into being supports and being the worst of the trio since supports usually get shafted
Personally I think Phenex could actually be a powerful support. Beam magnum, unicorn vulcans, shield beam cannons and maybe some sort of lock on variant of the cannons for NT-D mode. I could see it hitting pretty hard with type advantage if they went that way.

I can clearly observe that some suits are OP so don't come into my comments section like that please lol. Some suits are strong and some are weak.
