I don't think the instruments are being played live, only the singing. It's a little awkward, honestly, to watch a band that isn't actually playing. On the other hand, Sungkyu's voice is surprisingly gentle. It needs polishing, but I like it. And GOD he have a FACE! Seriously... I like his face. O.o *slaps weird self*

In my honest opinion, I like the full Infinite version better, HOWEVER that might just be because I enjoy hearing them all sing together.
Sunggyu alone is still so amazing and powerful and can really send shivers down my spine. His voice is really just amazing.

This is 2012, and now 2016. I become inspirit in december2015. Why im so late to knowing this group? :'( i feel bad. This group is fantastic!!!!!! Aw aw aw i also fall for infinite last 2015, even i know them since the first debut.. i do enjoying their music since 2010 but i start my curiosity when i accidentally watch HSLO haha. I know, it also late to get that drama since it relies at the end of 2014? (I'm not quite remember that).
