The way these man try to diss Gucci just isn't acceptable. Gucci is way more classical if we're comparing the basic classical designs. The green/red web trim has a lot more wearability than a lot of LV's designs & because they are better priced it makes it more appealing. The horsebit loafers although plain are a cult classic design but these young boys from the roads haven't grown up yet so they don't understand. Don't get me wrong, personally I prefer Louis overall as well & have spent a lot more money in Louis over the years in comparison to Gucci but all that talk about quality etc is straight bullshit. If anything, the overall quality of these brands has gone down, they've cut back on quality, charge you more money e.g you don't get a proper sunglasses case anymore when you buy a pair of Louis shades now, they give it to you in that dead little box that just about fits the sunglasses in with no cloth dustbag to protect & clean your shades (inflation is a mother fucker) & LV specifically, is less accessible. I could go on all day probably but I'm gonna finish it with this, my newest pair of loafers were £610 by Gucci because the LV ones I wanted £700 weren't even available so.... 👍🏼

I like these 2 and they kept it real, but saying cartier is a jewellery brand is dumb. Founded before rolex & AP , designed wrist watches from early. They’re a watch brand. Just because cartier don’t have as much longevity and investment as AP, PP , Rolex just shows how blinded they are by prices
Regardless of them being founded before they never got any recognition as watchmaker until much later, so he is not wrong in referring to them as such.
Their watches are shit most of them were quartz and their movements are shit anyways

But generally speaking it makes more sense to buy a Rolex, AP or PP for the investment factor who wants to spend £25k on a factory skeleton cartier when you know it’s gonna lose value as soon as you walk out the dealers. Nowadays it’s more common to buy cartier bangles, rings and sunglasses than a watch. Think that’s what he was tryna say bro
