we can have a show on the PSSap however it is a normal accumulation fund with very few investment options. We will address this in the coming weeks if you like.

Hi, I’m 54yrs old, in the PSS, and hope to retire by 57. I’ve been contributing 10% since 2003, and my last Superannuation salary was @$79k. On my last PSS statement the total stood at @ $648K. I was hoping to select a full PSS pension when I retire, and that this would be low tax. But am now concerned I may be in for heavy annual tax bills after I retire as I also have a substantial share portion that generates @40K in dividends annually. Should I take a part pension ? If so, what proportion? And what do I do with the money I take as a lump sum as I have need to make any major purchases. I have no plans of ever returning to the workforce after I retire at 57.

I think the best thing to do here is call the office and we can have a chat about the above. Given the numerous variables such as age, structure of asset, contribution rates, personal contributions as well as personal assets and other structures there are a number of considerations you may wish to address so you can get the outcome your after at 57. Our office number is 02 62604749.

@@thestrategystacker Yes, I did call your office. I spoke to the woman at reception Elke who said there were no appointments available until August. She then gave me heremail address and I wrote to her,and gave both my landline and Mobile numbers. She said she would pass my details on, but no one has called me back.
