In this video, I use inexpensive items from the thrift store, paper, yarn, poster board, things from my yard, and even empty soda cans to create budget friendly and adorable Christmas decor. These items include bleached pinecones and pinecone/spindle angels, spindle snowmen, a wall-sized snowflake, a bird and branch shelf sitter, large triangular ornament, soda can mini trees, Christmas carol candle stands, yarn trees, a thrift store clock turned wall diorama, and 3-D dome ornaments.

Is this applicable for India, I'm from India, love all your works 😍
Did u send me a msg saying I won something or I'm I being scammed?
@@lillye5844 You are being scammed. Just click the three dots at the edge of the comment and report it as spam. PS. I got it too. Actually five. Each time I report it a new authored one is sent.
Just when I think you couldn’t make anything cuter than you already had--TODAY’S VIDEO COMES OUT!!! My word! Everything is simply grand!
Oh, thank you so much! You are just so sweet! 😊
all are amazing but the stick triangle is my favorite
Sherry, I usually enjoy your videos because your ideas and ingenuity are so inspiring. Today is no different, but after a particularly trying day, I find myself appreciating your calm voice and lovely music, too. Thank you for these great ideas presented in such a lovely way!
Oh, Marilyn, that is so sweet of you to say! Some of my viewers complain that I talk too slowly, so it is really encouraging that other viewers actually enjoy my voice. Hope the rest of your week will be less trying. (I certainly remember coming home after a particularly bad day of teaching feeling exhausted. I used to watch reruns of the “The Big Bang Theory” which always made me laugh.)
Oh my goodness, Sherry, I did the same when I was teaching as well! 😅
I agree with you. I love her calming voice and her choice of music as well! 😊
@@angelicag2042 100% agree !
Yes I love your voice and music! Your videos are a delight for all the senses. If only you could work in the sense of touch😊
After watching this video, I just want to go to the attic and start decorating for Christmas. Love every single one of the crafts.
Oh, thank you! I haven’t unpacked most of my Christmas stuff yet either (because I will first have to pack up the autumn decor). Why do Thanksgiving and Christmas have to be so close together?!
Everything you make one after the other is better than the one before.
Sherry. You are totally adorable and talented. Love everything
Oh, thank you, Angel Girl! 😊
Beautiful projects Sherry!
I am only 16 videos in on this playlist and so far....everytime...my jaw drops with how ingenious and beautiful the decorations and ornaments are. There is at least one project that I want to attempt from every single video now. Amazing work and some are so nostalgic.
THE BLACK CHRISTMAS SILHOUETTE IN THE OLD CLOCK, YOU PAINTED BLACK, IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL...
Who would have thought a bundle of sticks and some embellishments could look so beautiful?! Wowza Lady, you have done it again. Gosh I love this channel.
Oh, thank you, Mikki! You are such a sweetheart! 😊 You can also make similar little stick bundles to hang on your tree.
No kidding! I live in a farm with woods directly behind my house. The hill is covered with cedar trees, so it's fun to take the limb loppers to the hill and cut branches for making wreaths for doors or swags for inside. It will dry over the course of December, but they keep their color. Just be careful taking them down bc they can make a mess.
Oh my goodness Sherry, I Love all of these. The clock redo would probably win, if I had to pick
LOVE how you work through whatever you do that you aren't happy with. Thanks for keeping it real!
omg! I love the skinny snowpeople! I love the triangle bird ornament...I love the bird sticks....oh who am I kidding..... Everything is so creative! I just love it all!
Absolutely love the metal trees and spindle snowmen!
My 2 favorite as well
I really enjoy your videos, but today all your ideas were just AMAZING! Loved it! Thank you for sharing!
I thank you, Carolina! that’s so very sweet of you to say! 😊
The winter clock was AMAZING!I LOVED IT
Oh, those sheet music spindle candle holders. If I don't have something I can use in the garage, I will go get something. I L-O-V-E-D them! I don't think I have any of those candle pans, but hubby could drill out a circle for me with his wood drills. I also liked the triangle decoration with sheet music and the bird...I live near two trees that are always dropping branches so I'll sneak out in the dead of night and swipe them. The neighbors will never know!
Thank you, Karen! Heck, the neighbors should pay you for picking up their sticks! 😜
Oh Sherry, that clock upcycle with the Christmas scene and snow was incredible… and yes, glitter is always a must! Lol Each of these turned out beautifully and I am very happy that I get the privilege of delighting in your creativity. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you, Mina! You are so sweet! I’m so glad you are a fan of glitter, too! I could just put it on everything for Christmas! 😜
The clock up cycle is awesome! Absolutely beautiful.
You are an absolute crafting genius! I would love to have your imagination and creativity. Just when I think that your craft project is just the cutest, you make another one that tops that. I so look forward to Monday’s every week just for your videos; highlight of my week. Thank you. 🤗
Suzanne, you are so sweet! Thank you so much for those kind comments! It really means a lot! ❤️😊
Another amazing project turning a clock into a giant snow globe, the glitter makes it shimmer and made the whole thing look magical.
Violet, thank you so much! I was afraid I was going to use two big bags of snow because the clock was so large and deep, but I only used half of a bag!
Simply adore the touch of adding the berries in the bird's beak. It's the little things Afterall, don't you know? XO
I just love all of the rustic items you did in this week's video! You are so creative!
Thank you, Joanne! I just love rustic decor for Christmas, so I’m so glad you like it, too!
I’m speechless…you have so many wonderful ideas. Love your creations 😍
I say it every week..... You're a GENIUS
Darling! Darling! Darling! I love the triangle with the bird. Wait, no the spindle angels. No. It’s the…
You get the idea!
I Love the sheet music diy!🎄❤️✨
Oh, thank you, Sarah! 😊 Hope you’re having a wonderful autumn!
I love your creativity and your skill in bringing your ideas to life.
You should win awards, repeatedly!
Sherry, you could decorate an entire house from a garbage can! I love it!!! You are amazing. Thank you for stimulating our creativity by using yours.❤️❤️❤️
That’s hilarious! Thank you, you’re so sweet! 😊
I absolutely LOVE all of these shiny, vintage, and rustic Christmas decor ideas! The best part is that they cost almost nothing to create. Super job Sherry!
Liked the triangle Christmas wood deco with the bird and the little red berries.. also the last bundle of wood tied together and the deco on it. Yes! More Christmas decorations, please
Thank you, Margie! I love rustic Christmas decor, too. I have a couple of ideas for Thanksgiving decor that I want to try now.
i *love love love* all of your Christmas crafts! the trees, the snow people, the clock converted into a winter scene with Santa flying overhead, the angels, the candle pillars, the ornaments, the bundle of logs with the bird, pine twigs and red berries ... *all so beautiful,* very quaint and homey and so well crafted, just what Christmas needs! a reminder for crafters: snow flakes are six-sided.🎄⛄
Thank you! Holy cow, snowflakes are 6-sided! I should have left two sticks off! Why didn’t I know this?! I did sort of think it looked more like a star than a snowflake-now, I know why!
@@CanterburyCottage hehehe! a few years back, i used tissue paper to cut delicate snow flakes like the thicker ones we used to do as kids in school, and folding the delicate paper into 6 even sides is an art unto its self, lol. i was so hoping to see the mitten / snow ball i suggested when watching a video from last year (do you remember that you said you were going to write it down, i think in an idea book?) you are such an artist! i am not very crafty and 2-D art eludes me, but i do sketch and paint on occasion. thank you for these wonderful creations! P.S. stars are good too. 😌
I do remember the mitten/snowball idea! I love your idea! It is actually on the list of projects I want to do for Christmas this year. I am doing a video of just ornaments the first Monday in November, so that is likely when I will include it. I can’t tell you how annoyed I am that my “snowflake” has eight arms! I want to break off two! 😜
@@CanterburyCottage : paint the branches gold and call it a star! do you have some silver colored star glitter? 🤗
Oh,Sherry! I have no words- you are truly amazingly gifted!
Oh, thank you, Lydia! You are such a sweetie! 🥰
Once again, you outdid yourself!! Those metal soda can trees are amazing! I thought it was going to be horrible, but was totally AMAZED at how beautiful they became! You are absolutely the most creative person I know!!
Oh, thank you, Chelle! I wasn’t sure how the soda cans would turn out either! 😜 Now, I want to try painting some white and adding some fake snow and iridescent glitter.
Good afternoon , Sherry! Yay! So excited to see your Christmas diys! Just finished the episode....oh my gravy! Your diys are simply outstanding . Your creativity never ceases to amaze. I adore ALL of them, especially the winter silhouette clock, spindle angels and the branch snowflake. Thank you for sharing the printables and for always inspiring! 🎄🎄🎄🎄 Bobbie xoxo.
Good afternoon, Bobbie! Thank you so much! The weather was so nice this weekend that I worked outside all day yesterday-mostly, packing up my patio. So, today, I was rushing to finish editing the video! 😬
A winning video with so many beautiful and unusual crafts. They were so natural and organic and not over the top. I loved all of them. Your imagination knows no boundaries and we are the lucky recipients.
OMG! The spindle snowmen are so cute!😊
Sherry - SO AWESOME! I loved all the ideas. I wasn't sure about the metal trees at first - but with the gold and beads they looked very high end! Thank you for all the sweet and adorable ideas in the video!!
Thank you, Cori! I wasn’t sure about the metal trees either.😜 I wish I had painted them white and added glitter and fake snow-maybe, next time.
These were all so adorable! I especially love the spindle snowmen and angels.
Thank you, Cynthia! 😊
This video is absolutely FULL of wonderful ideas! I could not pick one favorite because I loved all of them. The use of the yard branches were superb! My problem is my husband is VERY OCD! He literally picks up pine cones and branches in our yard before I can get to them. NOT kidding. Lol. I’ll have to ask him to set some aside for me. Keep up the great videos. They make my day.
Thank you so much! Oh, Lee, I can totally relate! My husband is OCD, too. When I am looking for something around the house and can’t find it, chances are my husband threw it away!
So much more elegant and traditional than so many of the DIYs I see. Very nice.
Everything is absolutely beautiful !!!!💕 I especially love the clock !!! What a great idea !!!💕
The Christmas diorama made from the clock and the round ornaments are my favorites. You have an incredibly creative mind!
Sherry, ! I always look forward to your videos! My immediate reaction? Wow wow wow. What great ideas. i have saved many of these in my inspiration folder! I just 'rescued' a broken wooden chair yesterday that has given me plenty of spindles...I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with them. I love the snowmen and the angels!
Yay! Chair spindles are the perfect size for so many projects! 😊 (I am running low on spindles, so I am on the lookout for some!)
I don't know how you come up with all these projects, but I want you to know I love everyone of them.💕
So many good ideas Sherry! Thank you for sharing them with us.❤🎄
Wow, you've outdone yourself this week! Beautifully creative group of projects. Love your videos. Thanks for taking the time to share your talent for diy with us
Oh, thank you, Mary! You are so welcome!😊
What beautiful and interesting projects. Hard to pick a favorite. Love them all. So creative!!
0ooooooo, yes! Some Thanksgiving ideas would be great. These Winter ideas: Spectacular.... of course!
❤Sherry, Christmas is my favourite holiday as well and I love decorating for this time of year! I love every single project in this video but especially your spindle snowmen and angels. All the stick decorations are so beautiful in their natural simplicity. Thank you for the inspiration. Cheers. ❤️🇨🇦👏🏼
Been waiting on this video.❤. I love adding the simmering glitter to my projects. Oh my, you were right. I have not done any of these brilliant pieces. You, my dear lady, are very very smart and wow. Love these so much.
Thank you, Margaret! 😊
Fabulous, creative, stunning, and affordable. Thank you so very much.❤️
Your crafts are always SO BEAUTIFUL and unique and your voice is so lovely to listen to! ~Pamela
Thank you so much, Pamela! Some people complain that I talk too slow, but I was teacher for so many years that I don’t know how to talk fast anymore! 😜
I can’t stop watching your Channel, Sherry!
I’m going with a natural Christmas theme and ALL of your ideas can be incorporated! Thank YOU!!! ❤️🎄🎅🏼
They were all good but my fav was the clock! What a transformation! The spindle snowmen were my second favs. Thanks once again Sherry!❤️
That last one with the wood bundle with the bird will be one I make. I will keep it up all winter. I just love it. I got tickled with the spindle snowmen. They must have come from a light snowstorm...lol. Adorable.
Great projects, Sherry. I loved the clock the best!!!
Everything is so inspirational! I love how you take just free stuff from the yard and turn it into a beautiful craft thank you so much!
Once again you have created CHRISTMAS with each of your projects. Absolutely love the Stick Snow Flake.
Thank you so much, Gale! 😊
I have learned so much from you. Bless you for your God given talents.
The clock and ornament projects were my favorites. Putting a pic of all of our grandkids was an idea of mine. Thank you for so many ways to make plain items into our personal master piece..
All so lovely, but the soda can trees are just gorgeous. They look so high-end, no one would ever guess what they are made of. Thanks for sharing
Oh my gosh, I love the clock diorama so much! I can hardly wait to create my own.
LOVE-Love-love this episode! I'm so excited to try several things, including the yarn trees--can you please tell us what weight yarn you used? I'm gonna experiment this evening just using whatever I've got on hand, and a stick for the center, since I haven't got small dowel rods. Thanks as always for all the great inspirations!
Everything is fantastic especially the clock and wood candleholder ❤
I wasn't sure how I was gonna like the gold on the trees but I actually love them. And that winter scene in the clock beautiful
Sherry, I absolutely love all the Christmas crafts on today’s video. The clock winter scene, dome ornaments, twig snow flake, and the twig and bird craft were my favorites. Although those pinecone and spindle angels were darling. Thank you for sharing all these great ideas!
Thank you, Sistergoldengirl! BTW I love that song “Sister Golden Hair.” Have you heard it?
Oh oh oh the sticks with the bird!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
7:09 - Tube Confetti - i couldn't tell for sure till i saw it up close, but another name for that is Bingsu, and you can find it online in tons of colors & finishes. Bingsu is used in Slime as a textural additive, and it makes the slime crispy & poppy when you're playing with it. ...plus it's a decorative feature when used in the Clear Slime. ---i like the way you've used it here. and these ornaments are the most precious ever!!
Ahhhh, I have a soft spot for angels made in an unusual way. These are angelic in so many ways!
Thank you, Ana! They might be even prettier painted white, but I just loved the wood color of my spindles, so I decided to leave them alone.
Hi sherry, great idea's, i find you an remarkle and magical person, thanks and see you next week,
Oh, that is such a sweet thing to say-magical is such a lovely word!😊
I keep wondering how will Sherry out create herself this week?! And every week, you answer my question with yet again easy, elegant, beautiful, cute & budget friendly designs! Every time!
I wasn't so sure about this channel, but the soda can tree won me. What clever idea! The finished product was a total surprise. U couldn't have convinced me it wasn't a $40 or $50 piece of Christmas art-deco. So impressive!♥️
The bird on sticks was my favorite.
Out of all the budget DIY's I've seen on youtube yours are still the most beautiful and elegant out of all of them. Gosh, so many I wan to replicate from this vid alone. Thank you for you for sharing!
Hi Sherry, I'm Sherry too! You are very creative and a very good art teacher. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us 🤗
Thank you! It is funny that I have several viewers named Sherry, but many of them spell it differently than we do.
My favorite is the clock transformation!
WOW...everything beautiful but the the birds
I love love love the snowman, angels and yarn trees!!! Thank you for the video!
Oh Sherry each project was so creative and beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your talents!❤❤❤
Oh, thank you, Candice! 😊
Oh Sherry… you are so patient with all of your projects that take so much time to glue, cut, create! Love everything. Especially the snowman and woman!! So many cute ideas!!
Thank you, JoAnn! I taught high school English for many years, so I had to be patient. 😜
I love the spindle snowmen. The angels are so cute. The large stick snowflake reminds me of my childhood.
Oh my gosh, I LOVED the Santa scene in the clock frame! I have just the right piece to do this with. Thank you so much.❄️🦌
Loved them ALL Sherry but my absolute favorite was the SPINDLE ANGEL w Pinecone Wings...simply very beautiful🤍🤍🤍
Thank you so much, Debie! 😊
The trees…..genius. The clock,..fabulous / the ornaments ..fabulous
Thank you, Jeannie! 😊
I really, REALLY like the triangle sticks using those bird pictures, and the block candle holders with sheet music😍 I could do those🤗Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you, Angela! 😊 Yes, you can make everything from today’s video!
The clock was beautiful! Heck, they all were!
I love all of these but I think the ones with the sticks and pinecones are my favorite. I also like the ones with the sheet music.
My two favorite's were the sheet music candle holders made from wood pillars & the charming snow filled ornaments ☺
Loved your creativity with all of them. I'm trying for a nature themed Christmas this year. Have been working with grapevine for some of my decorations. Can't wait to make some with the stick's. Thank you for sharing your diys 🤗💓💞💕
I love nature themed Christmas decor. You know that’s what our ancestors did-just used what nature provided! I’m so glad you enjoyed today’s video, Laura. Have a great week!
@@CanterburyCottage thank you Sherry hope your week is absolutely amazing 😍
Nothing escapes your creative eyes, especially loved the triangular decor piece! Blessed and safe days!
Thank you, Alice! Blessed and safe days for you, too! 😀
Be still my heart, I loved the all… thx so much for sharing ❤️
Oh, thank you, Doris! 😊
Hi Sherry, you're a creative genius! Have spindles and beads, must try those spindle angels and snowmen! In fact, will try them all! Thank-you dearest Sherry!
I love ALL of these. So fun to do with the grandkids.
Absolutely LOVE each project in this video, what a talent you have!!!
I swear, it is as if you know me very well. Everything you create is exactly what I love! I have always incorporated things from my yard in my crafts. I can't tell you what a sense of excitement and true joy your beautiful creations bring to me! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Oh, you are so welcome! 😊 One reason that I love rustic Christmas decor is because I imagine that is what our ancestors did-decorated with what they found in nature!
@@CanterburyCottage I agree, nature provides so many treasures to use. Again, thank you!
The stick snowflake would also look cute painted w white chalk paint . Cute. ❤️
Love the all but my favorite was the silhouette
I love seeing your creativity come to life!!
Christmas trees are beautiful. Love the lock makeover. Old fashioned Christmas scene.
What great ideas! I love birds, too! I love your last project where you just tied some sticks and put a bird on top. Simple but fun!
I’m so glad you liked the “pile of sticks.” 😜 Things like that sell quickly in my booth, but because it is such a simple idea, I wasn’t sure about putting it in today’s video.
@@CanterburyCottage it's something I'm definitely going to try
