I didnt know you had a channel I remember playing you alot in SFV you were the sole reason why I had to learn the Vega matchup. I got this same 16 button hitbox to experiment and I didnt know you could customize it great video and showcase.
lol, the memories! Nice to see you again! I remember the Zeku (and maybe the Ken?). Yeah, I'm a huge arcade stick / controller enthusiast so the channel skews that way, but I really hope Vega comes back to SF6 so I can have a true main again. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, dude!
Thanks for showcasing my key caps! I always try to make it on the fightstick of the month video and am stoked to make it in this one too!
Right on, dude! (and those wood-infused PLA caps were pretty interesting.)
Just put in some custom art on my G16, thanks for another great video, sweet!
Right on! All the little upgrades are addictive! Thanks for watching/commenting, dude!
Hush please, stop forcing me to better myself.
I just have a cool sticker on my Haute42 and was going to leave it at that.
Have mercy🥺
lol, I'm gonna drag the FGC kicking and screaming into the world of awesome customized controllers whether they like it or not. Other gaming genres/scenes don't get as cool controllers, so we have to flex and remind them where we can. (Seriously though, thanks for watching dude!)
@@HushMySweet1 thanks for the great videos as always
Damn Hush that looks great! That artwork and caps look amazing. Shout-out to all those Etsy stores, very nice.
And it was kinda funny because after my spiel at the beginning about "a controller is an extension of a player's personality," I didn't really contribute much outside of a vague "sugar skull" idea at the very beginning so maybe it was more of their personalities coming through, lol. Thanks for watching/supporting as always, dude!
@@HushMySweet1 True, but great work none the less. You keep killing it and I'll keep supporting! ✌️
video came out at the perfect time just ordered myself one lol
lol, I love it when things work out like that. Make sure to post to r/fightsticks after you personalize it! Thanks for watching!
never came faster to see a video
Awesome! I hope you enjoyed it and it gave you some ideas what to do with yours! Thanks for your support!
Got to lubed your switches makes a night and day difference in feel and sound.
I can maybe add that in a future vid. Good suggestion, and thank you for watching!
@@HushMySweet1That would be nice
What lube do you use and recommend?
@@namara_624 Depends a little on the switch type, but something all-purpose should be fine. Maybe start with Krytox 205g0.
Very good work!!! big hi from Syberia, Russia!:)
Nice! I hope the guide is helpful to your purposes! Thanks for watching!
Holy Shit I used Keys for my T16, they're great and got art to me real fast.
lol nice! Small world! Thanks for watching!
Have my T16 coming in the mail today
Right on! Hope it serves you well!
Hey man! Great video as usual. Do you have any recommendations for customization on the M models that are all aluminium?
Hey, thanks dude! Basically the M models would work just the same with everything you see here minus the artwork element (though you could get a vinyl sticker/wrap if you had to have a splash of color or something). Good luck!
Sick!
Thanks for watching, Tony!
geez hope some can do it in the PH
Can I use regular mechanical keyboard switches on these, or are they different?
So on some models you can use full size MX switches like you would in a keyboard. On the one in this video, it only takes low profile versions, but you can use whatever low prof stuff you want so long as the pin configuration is matched. Thanks for watching.
Hello I’m kind of a new viewer hahaha
Have you shared where you bought that tool for the buttons and switches?
PS Your content is awesome
Hey Rafma! Those tools are typically included with Haute42 (and brands which are similar) leverless controllers. If it doesn't, then you can also pick one up for about $5. Search up "2-in-1 Switch Puller Keycap Puller" and you'll see something similar. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@HushMySweet1 oh cool! I will definitely order the M16 plus soon!
🔥
How do i get artwork for my t16
You download the template and make it yourself, or like I did in this video, just farm it out to a graphic design guy. Once you have the finished art, you go through Focus Attack or an etsy shop that prints it. Then install it as shown here.
Ordered this controller 3 times off aliexpress and each time it has been cancelled 😢
That's bizarre. I've never had an issue ordering from there, but if it's not working for you, then they also sell on Amazon. Maybe that will be better luck. Thanks for watching!
You're only person I've heard pronounced the name "Haute" correctly. So many people pronounce it "hot" and it really annoys me.
Thanks for noticing it was correct! Ya know, in my first Haute vid, I called it "h-ow-t" just because I had only experienced that word in reading and never had heard it used in conversation. When I realized that company wasn't going to be a flash in the pan, I did a bit more research and corrected it to a cleaner pronunciation in my later follow-up vids. Thanks for watching and for commenting!
Of course! Thanks for putting out awesome vids. Now that I know how easy it is to customize, I'm definitely gonna get a T13
awesome work, unfortunately the person you've commissioned for the artwork used AI art, which is theft, please do not support people who use these AI tools to benefit off the work of other artists in the future
I have spent more on custom fightstick artwork and support for FGC artists than most people have spent on actual fightsticks. I chose this one particular guy this one particular time because he was the most recommended in the Haute42 discord server and wanted to keep the process easy for the viewer. But yes, obvs support real artists if you can.
@@HushMySweet1 Don't get me wrong! I'm 100% with you on this one like, I'm a super fan of your videos, and work with customizing and making tutorials they are really inspirational, and without you I wouldn't have known I could purchase those key switches kits.
Along your outward support from purchasing from Etsy stores and going out to help small businesses, but in this particular case I really dislike the purchasing and commissioning of AI art, I think it would be more morally correct to simply suggest print out art that's drawn by a real human and use it or commissioning custom art from an actual artist, that alone is enough of support to them.
As a freelancer, and someone who works in the industry, people who willingly and outwardly benefit from our work and get paid by people using art that's ripped from us is genuinely disheartening.
But thank you for understanding, I hope to see more cool stuff like this in the future from you!!
I get ya, thanks for your perspective and thank you for watching!
so do i only need the artwork off of focus attack and then i put it under the the acrilic the r16 comes with or do i still need to buy the plexi glass off of focus attak as well ?
You should just need to order the artwork and sandwich under the existing plexi. I think FA offers one in case you scratch or break your original and need a replacement. Good luck!
@@HushMySweet1 Thank you for clarifying 😃
