My wife is black as well. I met her while I lived in Milwaukee for a short time and we moved to a farm by a small town about 60 miles from any metro area. I grew up in small towns so this was no big deal for me - but she always was from the city. Oddly, my wife has taken to farming more than me and now is the biggest country girl ever now.
I think the difference between white and black women really boils down to society and family. People judge a black women and expect her to think or act a certain way. When she marries a white guy and runs for political office as a Republican (my wife has) she gets called some awful names by white liberals and some black people (so do our kids sometimes). As for me - I have never really gelled with her siblings but her dad is one of my favorite people in the world. He was very skeptical of me in the beginning. With good reason too. Some white guys try a black girl to see what it's like (fetish). Plus he marched for civil rights and I'm white as hell. I actually proposed to my wife because I felt he believed I was dishonoring him by living with his daughter. He's an awesome dad and I'm going to be like him when our girls date... Maybe worse.
Other minor differences would be the hair. Black people hair is a science and things that worked for months can suddenly stop working. There are a lot of CZcams videos to watch so I can try to help - but mainly I just buy the products.
Day to day - there is nothing different from a white woman to a black woman that really matters. Most white women I wouldn't be able to have a successful relationship with and most black women I would not be able to have a successful relationship with. This one black woman - I do and always will.

"Getting" a "white" man is no different than "attracting" any other man... It's all about attraction and interest. Landing a white man is not a prize. Attracting and securing a good man is.
As a white man, and a country boy, there are those of us out there who do genuinely love black women, don't let the haters tell you that all of us are racists, fetishists, or whatever other nonsense they spew. We really are out there.
Unfortunately I have not found a black woman who is interested in me. Perks of living in a small town and working in a college town I guess.

Been married 23 yrs to a Black woman. Funny thing I knew my father in law before I knew my wife. He is a Veteran and I was in the military so he liked me because I had that going for me. My family always loved my wife because she settled me down. I wish you both luck

I love a country southern white man. I mean the cowboy hat, pickup truck driving, hunting, fishing, traditional, good values, manners, etc type. I’ve always liked them but was afraid to. I grew up in the country so I had a attraction to them.

Yep that's my experience with WW, they make you guess. I don't want to guess, thats why I asked because I want to know. BW will tell you what they think or want. I'm not sure why the difference, but I appreciate just telling it like it is. I'm southern, and LOL yeah we're nice, but I think it comes across as creepy. I heard a funny joke a black girl said about different races of men , date a black guy for 5 yrs and he's not sure you're the one. Date a White Guy after 3 dates you're exclusive, in a year or 2 you're married. Meet a Mexican, and you're pregnant in 3 min. LOL that may not be funny but I thought it was. The Key is CHARACTER, southern guys want a good woman that they can marry, not that its a sure thing, because thats what dating is for to find out if it works, but a guy normally dates to find the one. I guess it depends on his stage of life, but they're usually thinking about the future. IMO
Games are emotionally draining and such a waste of time. I don't find nice men creepy because I think I'm nice myself. 😊

@@mindyours8343 yeah ... I fell in love with a black girl in HS, I dreamed of her every night. In my dreams we got married, and moved to Nashville, and had 3 or 4 kids. We were happy, it was just me and her. Sadly I made the mistake of asking her out in front of her friends one day at school and she destroyed me, and never spoke to me again. I still keep up with what she's doing, she married a guy after college, and had a couple of children, and they live in Nashville. My best friend thought we had a secret thing going on , but I wish, it ended that day.

When people are usually surrounded by others then have to answer an unexpected question, they kind of feel watched and pressured. That might be why she responded negatively. Wish you well 🙏

Some White guys like "challenges" of guessing what a woman really thinks, they like to play those games while other White guys don't like to play games at all. The latter White guys want a woman who is direct, doesn't play games, lets them know where they stand and there is a stereotype that Black women are like that so they look for a Black woman who they think has such qualities. Not all Black women fit this stereotype though. So with high chances in general you still have to look for an individual character.

I think you can find that women that lack being straight forward in all races, but black queens do lean more outwardly. I just think when you take away expectations of what your soulmates physical attributes are, you open yourself up to finding him or her.

I like Southern WM always have , as a BW who grew up under Jim crow laws, but was taught to love God and love people as I loved myself. That was the first think I had to learn to do love me after, that loving others wasn't hard.
I'm in the south, and it's hard to find a white man down here if you're a bw because you dont know if they're interested.
I am a black southern woman who has had southern white male friends my whole life and I can tell you that they feel the same trepidation. So many black women screamed for years "black men only" that they aren't sure who is interested.
But it never hurts to throw a smile their way that is a good way to let them know you are open minded.

I like this, to see a country southern White guy in a relationship with a southern Black woman, I just love this or even vice versa with opposite genders. It just didn't seem possible at one point in history due to jim crow laws in the south and many other things way back then may have prevented the possibility of Blacks and Whites unable to fall in love, but slowly but truly that hatred is being destroyed, and White guys, especially southern White guys who want to actually meet a southern Black women etc can do so freely without the need for all the controversy, and racist attitudes from the past few centuries, all that need to stop. People should be allowed to fall in love regardless of race, so I truly appreciate seeing this, love is love. I hope in the future we as a society actually grow more into this and see more people that come from different walks of life find their significant other and fall in love, especially if they're Black and White from the south of the US. So I applaud the both of you! 👏🏽👏🏽

My whole life I dated WM that's what I had access to growing up. A lot of them were 4H, rodeo, farm boys. They all just wanted what Jordan said. However only 2 guys met my father and they were so intimidated. The first one was my friend first, so he met my dad as my friend. The second guy swore my dad wanted to hit him with a claw hammer. It wasn't true my dad didn't even know he was there he just happened to have a hammer in his hand cause he was putting up some pictures that my mom wanted up.😄 I have strict parents, so the boys were so scared.
I'm straight forward because I don't have time for games and I don't want a moment where we might be in a heated discussion and they say, "I didn't know you never told me". That will never be the issue with me.

I think it is a cultural thing to meet the folks early because in the South they take relationships more seriously just like in African cultures a man will proposition you early because that's expected, to marry a woman if you deem her to be your wife.
You seem to have a beautiful relationship, you have a chemistry that other relationships don't have. At the end of the day it's all about do you care and love the person, maybe at first if your new to interracial dating the race or the different culture would be different or intimidating but actually it should be the most exciting part. You get to broaden your horizons and pick and choose what will be healthy for what you want from a relationship. I myself was born in NC but was lucky enough to be raised by my community that consists of multiple different races so it wasn't really any kind of culture shock but if you weren't and you don't have a fetish than I would say give it a try. Why should the color of someone's skin keep you from being with someone that would love you for who you are as an individual. Don't limit your happiness.

There's a mutual respect and someone who wants to separate you from your family, that's a big red flag. If you have A good family that is a red flag that he wants to meets them.
