Seems like seatbelts are optional in the US. I was just watching a police pursuit vid on YT last night where this guy was ejected from his vehicle's sunroof when it rolled over and he was in critical condition. A nurse revived him to breathe but said she didn't know if he was gonna make it.

Just a quick comment for you guys! My parents just sold their Yamaha 242 limited s with the twin jet drive. A few things we found are DEFINITELY pull up the carpets before you go. Those snap in carpets are awesome but if you lose one you have to buy the whole set. 😵💫 The engines should still have some clean out ports in the back incase a rope or weeds get wrapped around the impeller. Vaseline on those help to make sure they seal. My parents had one pop up and the boat started to take on water, no big deal for the bilge though. just like any boat, open every compartment or it will get that skunky water smell. If the back seats still unsnap to get to the Clea. out ports put some small pieces of wood or something under them when you're done. It traps water under there and it begins to try to mold. Magic eraser works incredible to clean things 😁😁 Absolutely gorgeous boat and wishing you both the best in your adventures!
