Thank you for making the effort to record your adventure on video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching and learning.
Great video David! Suddenly everyone is doing fireside yarns...
Sorry, Roger, I did not realise you must have done one, must be telepathy. Will look for recent videos from you. Good sailing. D

Thank you, John. Just hoping to start up again single handing after the lock down.
Magnificent. Thanks. Do keep naming places so I can follow along on the chart. Hope all is going well for you.
Great Video thanks
Just back from a winter night sail from Langstone to Chichester Harbours. If any pics come out I will make a video.
Hello, could you make a video detailing how your overnight cover and arrangements work? If so that would be amazing, I will certainly be venturing further in my mirror next year. Charles
The tent is shown a bit in some of the videos but I will try to do one showing it during the Christmas Holidays.
Another good video David, I think a feature film might be in the planning stage for next year "Across the Channel".
I am toying with the idea of putting 2 jibs on my Mirror in lieu of of spinnaker which is hard to set single handed.
I know you experimented with a bow sprit what is your experience with 2 jibs? Any advice ?
I have a slightly cut down spinnaker which I tried as an asymmetric with a short bowsprit. But I found it only works over a narrow range of wind angles. I think you might find a jib is better but it might give too much lee helm. I also tried a spinnaker set on the mast like another mainsail, wing-and-wing style, and that was quite good and easy to set.
Would love to know how you set up your nav lights
Mike
I use the Lalizas LED all round white light, which is available quite cheaply from most chandlers.

I fix it on top of the spinnaker crane. The Gunter yard will obstruct it a bit but it seems reasonable. I run a cable down the mast and use a 2 Amp Hour lead-acid gel battery. Good sailing. D
Excellent videos I would love to do this type of sailing can you advise me
Thank you for your nice comments. The best thing is to join the Dinghy Cruising Association,
