the yolk is influenced by the feed of the hen. The color doesn’t mean it’s healthier, the feed is just more pigmented. Some farmers add super pigmented stuff like marigold flowers to make the egg yolk brighter. Instead, go off the egg’s grade and whether it’s pasteurized and organic (if it’s within your budget) :) I took a bunch of food science and chemistry classes at SDSU for my nutrition major. can you do a video how you introduced allergens and solid food, my boy is gonna be six months next week and I am so afraid because I don’t understand how he’s going to know how to chew, how big of pieces I should give him or what precautions to take. It doesn’t have to be extravagantly long either I just need help gaining the confidence to do it.

It can be scary with your first! But you have to trust your baby's body to figure out what to do. Start with one food at a time and just do that for 2-3 days to make sure they don't have some kind of allergic reaction then just keep moving through. Food before 1 is for fun! So expect more of a mess and him exploring rather than eating. And remember gagging is not the same as choking. Gagging is a natural reflex as he's learning to chew and swallow. It can be scary, but you can always take a baby CPR class to give yourself peace of mind!
