Prepare to step into a world of forested beauty when you arrive at Seoraksan National Park.
Located in Gangwon-do, South Korea, Seoraksan National Park tours are popular with both residents of Korea and international travelers. It is a frequent destination for those staying in nearby Sokcho, a city renowned for its natural hot springs and mountainous surroundings. Seoraksan National Park’s 63 square miles are largely untouched by humans, so it’s easy to immerse yourself in the quiet beauty of nature.
Your Seoraksan National Park sightseeing begins at the park gates, where a towering bronze statue of Buddha awaits you. Take some pictures or place an offering at his feet, and then head into the park proper. It invites you to spend hours wandering along the many paths that wind through the park, crossing streams and winding beneath a canopy that might be thick with green or red leaves, depending on the season. You can even take a gondola ride to the top of the mountain. From the gondola-which is enclosed and climate-controlled-you can see all of Seoraksan National Park, so this is the place to grab some of those gorgeous landscape pictures to post on your social media.

There is no road from Petite France to the Seoraksan Cable Car, so you have to go to the Seoraksan Cable Car and then come back to Seoul and go to Petite France.
