A big round of applause to Emily Hampshire, who supports physical media (Blu-ray Disc & DVD)....
Why are we supposed to support physical media? I didn't get the memo.
Because physical media movies are with you for a lifetime. Only collectors can understand this.
Looked like a lot of criterion collection in the back
@@matthewkolb9950if you “buy” movies digital or stream them, they can be taken away at any moment and you’ll never see them again. True ownership only comes with physical media.
@@sammyfabelman Unless you've got a basement of celluloid, your argument is dumb. A hard drive is also 'physical media'.
Jay buruchel literally is the guy in tropic thunder lmao
Sandusky!
I have no idea who Emily Hampshire is, but that collection of physical media makes me want to know her work.
Start with Schitt's Creek!
schitts creek is a great start but my favourite is 12 monkeys the series.. shes incredible.
Emily has taste, she has a physical collection and she’s funny, what a dream, she’s also fantastic in Humane
emily hampshire pulling out her blu rays is everything
The Apartment is a great pick
Finally someone puts Heat in their top 4. Such a great crime thriller, with the most realistic shoot out scene of all time.
Hell yeah to the Cannon shirt.
THE RED SHOES LETS FUCKING GOOOO
The Apartment is in my top four so I can't say anything else but great pick. And she's entirely correct that the premise, plot, and themes of The Apartment are so universal and ageless that the movie could be made today and still work. Not that it should ever be remade because you can't improve on perfection. But I suppose if they can trample over 12 Angry Men with a remake they'll stoop to remaking The Apartment.
Love jay
all the cronenberg children hardcore affffff lmao;
& I love emily hampshire in Good neighbors!!! worth checking out, causes a ton of drama to be with her CAT 😭
Have not seen Jay in a while
He's great in BlackBerry from last year!
Is Caitlin Cronenberg related to David Cronenberg?
Yes.
@@LeviBoldock guessing she's his daughter?
My top 10
1. Dune Part 2
2. Mulholland Drive
3. Synecdoche New York
4. American Psycho
5. Blue Velvet
6. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
7. Miller’s Crossing
8. Casino
9. The Departed
10. Hot Fuzz
Jay Baruchel looks and sounds like he's training to become a Jimmy Kimmel impersonator
Jay sounds like he’s been gargling rocks and only takes a break to smoke a cigarette
Nepo baby. Is she actually good?
Only American Movies. 👍🏻
Except for Good Neighbours and Red Shoes.
@@hoover728 UK movies. Big difference.
@@guilhermechemelo6468 Canadian and British, and yes your statement was incorrect.
great picks all around, except for Cape fear (1991). very mid movie
The 1991 remake looks even worse when compared to the original 1962 film, which is so brilliant.
Let people have favorites lmao, favorites aren't the same as "best"
Jays pick's suck.
Not at all.
Hell no
Definitely got big "movie bro" vibes from him. Yuck.
@@Progger11what does that even mean? He’s a bro who likes movies?
I assume it’s some derogatory term for a male that watches films for fun, instead of reading about what deep themes they have.
