As it is getting tougher and tougher for an emerging artist to grow (look at the new policy Live Nation is pushing for artists at the moment for example) taking a step back, breathing, maintaining connection with yourself, let somethings go, as well as accepting situations and letting it be is a process one goes through.
You cannot change or stop the machinery put in place, not as an individual. You only get this much energy to figure out how and where to invest it best. It is not an easy path to be a creative person but one thing is for sure:
Whatever you choose to do in this life you will never make it on your own. The myth of a self-made man is not true as there will be always people who will help you on your way. Remember them, love them and do the same for people who need your help.
Whatever difficulties you face, always take a step back for a bit to process, let things synch, accept and figure out how you move around the machine to move forward in the best possible way you can and do not forget, be kind and help others on the way. There are more important things than our personal ambitions in the end of the story.
It is the collective that can change the whole way this world learned to function the past century & that can make the drastic changes and transitions in all hot topics concerning us. Gender equality, green energy transition, stoping racism, stoping discrimination, end poverty.
