- Welcome back to not only another top list video but another Bluey related video too. Today, I talk about the episodes from season one that I didn't enjoy as much as most of the other episodes.

Bob Bilby was probably irritating just because they're trying to show the family on the tablet all day, but they've never once been on a tablet all day any other time in the series. It was just super out of character and they usually do just play all day long. It was just a really weird scenario for these characters and should have been shown with a different family that isn't shown to be completely active all the time.
The problem I have with "Don't just play with technology" episodes is, even if the episode is done well , it ultimately just makes me think of people who complain that "Kids these days don't play anymore - they just look at smartphones!", which annoys me, because that's an exaggeration at best. I'm not saying they're aren't kids who need to hear this, but kids do play outside, and with toys and the like, as well as look at their phones and whatever. So doing episodes like that just feels like they buying into the whole exaggeration.
It especially doesn't work, if the kids in the show are usually shown to be quite capable of having fun without technology (or even that technology never stopped them playing or having adventures or whatever.) This is definitely the case with Bluey, as the puppies are very playful and imaginative - they even make games out of the simplest of things, even mundane things, like going to work (which is a nice touch - it captures the imagination of a child beautifully), so characters like Bluey or Bingo wouldn't need to have an episode about how to do more than just play with technology. If they had to do an episode like this, they could have had another puppy always be looking at their phone, and have Bluey (and possibly others) show them they can have fun without it (though in my ideal world, it would at least show that it's okay to enjoy your phone as well.)

I think discouraging children to not watch cartoons with a Bluey episode is a bit silly since Bluey is a cartoon
I don't think they're showing that fairies do exist in Bluey. I think it's more so Bingo's imagination. Bingo points it out to her dad and he just says "It's a love heart!" and does not make mention of the fairy. In reality perhaps one of her parents rebuilt it for her. And as for my least favorite, it has to be "Bikes." I go based off how my daughter reacts in response to watching the episodes and bike made her act as though she could not do things and suddenly become frustrated at simple things. I don't know just not a highlight episode either.
I love Bluey. Despite it being for little kids it’s humor is spot on and the characters feel natural.

well i like the episode backpackers cuz there's in ester egg in this episode so when bandit and chilli are waking through the market bandit walk's past a crate of balls and if you look beside the crate you can see the Pixar ball

I think the point of Bob Bilby was that Bluey and Bingo were only doing one thing with Bob. It was nice to see Bandit get his old standalone camera out of storage! My least favorite episode is Kids, it was a rather mean spirited Bandit torture porn, but even then the episode was saved by the kids learning the error of their ways.
Yeah, when we used to take home the kindergarten teddy, you were meant to take photos of you and the teddy doing more than just one thing

it's where bluey finds another dog named Jean luc that speaks French and they were camping buds and they planted a tree and played together every day in camp but when Jean luc left bluey was a little sad and never seen him but the tree grew more and more they became older and by the time bluey visited the tree he saw Jean luc older too and he now speaks English

Shops, Bob Bilby and The Creek would all be in my top 10 best list. They're all delightful, with great use of music.

I might even say this show is better than south park
That's not saying much. South Park has some good moments, but the bulk of the show is aimed at kids who think edginess is automatically funny.
I actually kinda liked the episode where the kids pretended to be backpacks. It got a little annoying at parts, but I really liked that it showed Bandit and Chili working as a team and provided us some insight as to why they would be together as a couple. Plus, it establishes a little bit of their history together. I thought it was sweet, but in my opinion, the Play episode in season 2 did that a little better, but I should still give credit.
Also...I know that Bluey's a show for preschoolers so looking too far into things is kind of ridiculous, buuuut I think it's weird that Chili wouldn't be empathetic to her husband in Fairies. After all, shouldn't she as a working adult understand why Bandit got mad at Bingo? I don't understand why she wouldn't be more on his side in that situation.
Could you clarify your thoughts on Copycat? To me the second half is very much about dealing with grief. The central theme of the show as a whole is about how we can use play and imagination to solve conflicts, grow as people and learn about the world. So it's only natural that Copycat involves Bluey using a role play to process her emotions of grief.
Also, I find it weird that at the end of that episode, Bandit points out how Bluey stopped copying him, when in reality, in the whole scene where she's replicating what happened with the budgie, she was doing every single thing that her dad did in that point in time too! And I also felt like that idea of roleplaying the scene is a nice idea for kids that could be struggling to grieve for someone or something and need some kind of closure, as long as it's done in a way that won't upset the kids even more, but just following the child's cues, which is what this episode did.

The thing with Bob Bilby was it was showing that Bingo was only doing one thing, and that it wasn't as exciting as what her other classmates were doing with him. It was hypocritical to have a message to not watch cartoons when Bluey itself IS a cartoon, and then there's the thing about cartoons and electronic devices being "boring stuff" which probably is the reason that many people don't like the episode much.

OH COME ON FAIRIES IS ONE OF THE BEST EPISODES IT EVEN MAKES MAGIC REAL IN THE SHOW SINCE WE SEE A FAIRY ITS AWSOME IT HAS MAYHEM EMOTION MAGIC COMEDY IT AWSOME
But I do like your idea for that episode but I'm still amazed by what THEY made
As for your number 1 spot, I do agree they could’ve done much better in this episode. Definitely not one of my favorites. As for the Fairies at the end, I don’t think they’re real. No one but Bingo saw them, I think it was just her imagination.
This show is not just a good show. It’s a fantastic show.
Also I feel bad for Bandit for other episodes with “Teasing” which I think is terrible, and I want to review it. I want to review some of the worse episodes too
And I did want to watch teasing but its not on disney+

My thoughts on the episodes:
5: Bob Bilby
I actually love this one. The jokes are nice, it is a bit heartwarming, and it’s message isn’t enough to bring it down. Even if we’re in quarantine. This is a definite Good Dog episode.
4: The Creek
For me this is kinda boring. Sure the creatures look very good, but this doesn’t progress much. It’s ultimately harmless, but one of the lower tier episodes. Kind of an Average Dog episode. If you want a good episode that tries this, watch The Beach
3: Backpackers
I’m literally the only person who thinks Bandit is the Squidward of the show (and I mean in seasons 6-8). This is one of the reasons why. This is also one of the reasons I don’t like Bingo. Mostly cuz she doesn’t get her comeuppance (like learning a lesson or something like that). This is a Bad Dog episode, even if it’s not the worst of the season (which I’ll get to later).
2: Shops
This is one of the least progressing episodes of the show. I don’t this it’s bad, but it’s and Average Dog episode. I don’t have much to say about this. The main reason it isn’t good is Rusty. Rusty is a great character, but it makes the message less impressive. He doesn’t make it bad though in my opinion.
1: Fairies
I’ll just get on with this. This one is really bad, and y’know what I said in Backpackers. This was the episode I was referring to. The beginning is the best part of this episode. It’s fine, but that’s side. I need to rant here, and this is what people need to go to for the reason this is number one on this list too. I’ll be more critical, even if I love this show. Let’s go to the next part, I’ll also talk about Bandit having to apologize later. Enter, The “Bandit Torture Porn.” No it’s not what you think it’s the Squidward thing, but replaced with Bandit. This starts happening in the beginning while Bingo tugging on Bandit’s tail while he was on a serious phone call. Bandit just is all for playing the Fairy game, but he just humiliates himself, and has to apologize to Bingo. Btw he just gets humiliated by his family like in Teasing but astronomically better imo, he just gets treated cruelly, and all he done is just be a bit mean to Bingo. Overall a definite Bad Dog episode.
Honorable Mention (I’ll keep this short):
Copycat:
I think it’s and Average Dog episode, but it is a bit misleading. Camping is an incredible episode of Bluey and it discusses a serious topic. This is much harder to get right though so I’ll give it a pass.

5: The Creek
Fun Fact: Three of Bentendo’s picks are on here (Spoiler Alert it’s not Shops, or Bob Bilby). This is the first one. My opinions earlier explain it.
4: Calypso
I fell asleep during this. That’s how boring it is, and my reason to why it’s on my list. I was gonna put Hide And Seek on the list, but that episode wasn’t as boring as this. The episodes revolving around the school I feel are mixed in terms of quality. Some are great, but some are just boring like this one. This is my least favorite one out of all of them. This episode isn’t terrible, but this is so boring. It isn’t offensive, and the final scene is nice, but my point still stands.
3: BBQ
Ah yes, the unneeded “Bingo Torture Episode.” The only reason it’s not higher is because the other two are just that bad. why do I dislike it? It’s right in my first sentence. It’s a “Bingo Torture Episode.” It treats Bingo terribly. Sox, and Muffin are at there worst here, and that’s sad. (Including the next episode on this list, and I’ll get to the worst Bluey, and Bingo have been later). The ending is just not satisfying.
2: Backpackers
I think my earlier opinions sum it up as well.

Once again, just see my opinions on it earlier.
0: Teasing
I’m sorry I need a punching bag for this. This is the “A Pal For Gary” for the show, and I despise that episode. This episode is one of the most unforgivable episode of Bluey, and the only one of that. I don’t want to talk about this for my sanity, but this is so mean spirited it’s almost sickening. It’s not just mean spirited, but BANDIT GETS ATTACKED FOR JUST A LIGHT TEASE. Good god this is one of my least favorite episodes in good cartoons (Number 4 if you need to know). Just this is an absolute Bad Dog episode.
Just pretend it’s the number one entry and kicks other up the list by 1 spot.

The flossing was too much. Everything else though is ok. This still deserves a mention for the flossing though.
Zoo:
This is Calypso, but less boring and actually good. Not the best, but still decent.

These both have the same problems, even if they are good. I’m comparison to the rest of the season, they are kinda average. They are both nice, but I like Keepy Uppy better.

Oh god. Don’t worry I’ll review this one video in a new series called “All-Seeing Rants”. I hate this, but I decided to let it slide. For now...

How is Socks being terrible here? She wasn’t being demanding like Muffin. Also I don’t ever remember Bingo not learning anything. But I still not like Bingo in that Backpack episode. And I disagree with you about teasing. Bandit did show the family that they are overreacting. Showing them that they were having fun.

There are rumors about a Bluey movie and I really hope that happens eventually but probably won’t be for a while but I would really like that
My most least favorite episode is bike. It starts off with bluey learning how to ride a bike but gets frustrated and sits next to bandit. Then it just moves on to muffin and bingo, which goes off the topic of bike. It should’ve been called something else. I also got bored of the episode as well. It was predictable as too.
I like the creek mostly because of the natural hot springs.

Bluey is a joy to watch with my 5 year old son. We always imitate the various games from "Tickle Crabs" from season two to "Keepy Uppy" from season one. However my personal favorite episode is "Takeaway" from season one. Bluey and Bingo join Dad to collect his takeaway dinner, but must wait with him at the fast food restaurant until his order is completed. Dad tries to control his restless children while they wait, but ultimately realizes that they should be allowed to have fun while they are still young.

"You're only a child for a small part of your life and then a adult for the rest of it."
My son is just as restless sometimes as Bluey and Bingo. Needless to say, he tests my patience sometimes. Watching this episode changed me. I forget how I was when I was young. So yeah, he gonna have as much fun as he can while he's young.....and I'm gonna relive my youth through him.
I hate the grocery store one. It made the kids look so bratty.

I am making my own movie called bluey The adventure coming out February 17 2048 so I have to be 35 years old because I was born in December 12 2011 it has all episodes from season one and two and I make a fan made season three So get excited because it’s coming out in the next 27 years

tome the episode kids i though was the worst episode, i mean all bandit was doing was shopping but then bluey wanted to pretend to be both their mom, it cute but what got me mad if bingo was cheeky the whole episode and bandit get in trouble bc of her, i felt they was sayig if you have a younger sibling he or se get away with things while you as the big sibing get in trouble for their mess
Although you find *Fairies* as your least favorite episode, I find it as my favorite episode. I just found it hillarious.
